The Tiger Woods saga

I'd like to see Tiger play well. It's good for the game.

I hope he is 100% healed up and not rushing things just to play the Masters.

I'd say he's good physically. This last go round was more of a bruised ego.

I'm not necessarily a Tiger fan but I understand that he is good for the game. I would just like to see him come back and play well. Maybe push people like Phil, Bubba and Rory to play harder and better.

I hope you are right. I like Spieth.

Spieth illustrates just how crazy Tiger's career has been. Spieth is 21 or 22 and has won a couple of times already which is amazing. But by this age, Tiger had 2 majors and had won 6-10 times.

Tiger won his first major at 21. Spieth has two majors left before he turns 22.

When Tiger turned 22 at the end of 1997, he had 2 majors and 6 wins. Spieth has 2 wins and 1 second place in a major so far. There are 3 more majors and 19 tournaments to play in before Spieth turns 22 on July 27 this year. He may or may not achieve Woods' records, but it appears that he could certainly provide plenty of competition for McIlroy, Watson, etc., which is the question that I answered.

It is crazy how much Tiger won at an early age and won when it mattered too.

What do you mean when you say head case?

He's just a volatile guy. Part of it is that he suffers from ADHD and has trouble staying focused. He also has a history of screaming at his caddy, off the wall behavior on the course and generally acting like a jerk at times.

Does he treat his caddies like Tiger treated Fluff and Stevie, and drop f bombs and damn's out loud all over the course?

His own caddy told him that if he didn't quit being such a hothead he was gonna leave him. He has actually cooled off since then. I still think he's a hothead, just not as bad.

Interesting. I did not know that.

Tiger acts like a jerk. Not exactly a news flash.

My point was that Bubba had some well documented issues with focus and volatility that impacted his play from time to time. Not many with that makeup excel at Augusta.

That course would keep my interest.

It's almost like he's bi-polar.

That is what Jordan Spieth is for.
I posted this 9 days ago in response to Orangesmokey's post saying that he "would just like to see him(Tiger) come back and play well. Maybe push people like Phil, Bubba, and Rory to play harder and better." I said the above ...."That is what Jordan Spieth is for." Looks like I was right after all.
