I don't however to expect Glenn to last much longer. Sweet Lucille
I think it'd be more likely that Nicholas is hallucinating than Glen. He looked out of it anyway.
I hope that Daryl is the one that gets Lucilled. Change things up a bit. Part of the reason it was so shocking in the comics is that Glenn was a major character and one of Rick's right hand guys and he isn't that guy in this show...but Daryl is.
that was way more of an emotional "death" scene than what any red shirt has gotten on this show. i think you're being a little harsh on it.
edit: and by harsh on it, i think you know what i mean. obviously the whole way nicholas fell on him and somehow didn't land on walkers stuff was completely overlooked and pretty dumb.
again, i disagree. that looked more like painful agony. didn't seem much different than any other of the walker victims we've seen. and regardless, if he wasn't getting torn at (aka it's nicholas entrails getting pulled out), then he's one stupid soon-to-be dead son of a gun. making noise like that only worsens your already bleak chances at getting through that alive.
and yeah, intestines aren't in the chest, but this is the Walking Dead we're talking about. chalk it up to them wanting it to be ambiguous.
also, from the way they both fell, i'm not sure how they landed in a position where the mid section of nicholas is right on glenn's chest...but again, it's the damn walking dead we're talking about.
We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think the fact that how it happened was so dumb pretty much zaps any emotion out of it, plus how they seemingly just moved on without dwelling on it at all. Plus I disagree because dude with the note got just as emotional death and setup as Glenn did in the same episode.
You're kind of going back and forth here. On one hand you're chalking up things to the unrealistic way things are handled (i.e. intestines in chest, the way dumbass fell on Glenn) as it's just "the walking dead", but then turn around and say he almost certainly must be dead. Like you said, it's the walking dead, so why would they suddenly be held to realistic details with Glenn's situation when they can't even get how the body fell and where intestines are correct?
In case some of you still haven't seen it...

It's pretty obvious to me that's not Glenn's chest. Look at the position of his chin in relation to what is being ripped open, it's pretty clear to me that's Nicholas' body on top of him.
They're eating the dude that landed on him. Just a guess.
I was thinking that as well. Also you made a great point about them being out of bullets and using the knives. It could be that what we saw is a hallucination by Nicholas and what transpires is a possibility that he is thinking about.
If Daryl gets waxed, then I hope this is the last season. He is my favorite character.
If it's a hallucination though why does Glenn not answer Rick on the walkie?
Daryl getting killed would cause some sort of revolt. I'm not sure you bring that kind of heat to your own show.
Random thought, but could this be the show's way of testing the waters on killing a major character. Too much backlash and they bring him back not enough and he dies?
Only way I see him escaping is if he guts one of the Walkers on top of him and lays low...zombie guts trick. And it would be a cheat.
Interesting theory if they hadn't already filmed the following episodes. Maybe they have found a way around it, but you would think that Glenn's fate, whatever it may be, has already been decided and filmed.
So was I the only one that thought that was Morgan attacking Rick in the RV ?
Here is way Glenn might be dead
in the comic con trailer it looks like Maggie dies so killing Glenn wouldn't really effect future story much at all
