The Walking Dead

to the two posters who have mentioned Game of Thrones, please spoiler that stuff if you're going to post it in this thread.

Game of Thrones spoiler

Glenn dies

perhaps Glenn's death isn't complete - perhaps we only got the first half of the incident and the writers are going to make us endure it again with a conclusion after the Morgan-athon.

I think everyone agrees we need some stinkin' closure here.

The Talking Dead shenanigans only add to the convolution

that's what i'm assuming. i can get down with that.

It's been 5 months since game of thrones. If you haven't seen the last episode that's your problem. Jmo.

if this were the game of thrones thread, you'd be correct, but this is the walking dead thread. it's possible that not everyone watching this current season of TWD, have watched or are caught up to GoT. Kind of unfair to put huge GoT spoilers in TWD thread where they wouldn't be expecting it.

if you're going to post a spoiler from another show in here (especially one as recent as GoT), you use the spoiler tag. no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

If Glen survived they better show every step of how exactly how he escaped unlike last years finale when he had two or three fall on him then they cut away and didn't show how he survived (btw, shouldn't he still have a gunshot wound in his shoulder?)

The shot that hit Glenn last season was a glancing, flesh wound if I'm not mistaken.

I know it showed Glen out of bullets and pull his knife but did it show Nicholas run out?

I rewatched the scene several times. When they appear to run out of bullets the camera is facing Glenn and he has his gun very close to him with the barrel pointing to his left. You distinctly hear dry trigger pulls which I doubt are coming from Glenn. It'd be dumb for Nicholas to start using the knife if he wasn't out of bullets. I don't buy that idiot being smart enough to leave a bullet in the gun just so he could off himself.
That being said Nicholas is dead regardless of whether or not we understand the mystery of the lone bullet. He was memorialized on The Talking Dead already. The show runners wouldn't have approved that if it weren't true. I'd also have to ask why Nicholas wasn't on the couch in the Talking Dead studio though.

When it becomes Die Hard eight minutes for a hand grenade to detonate cartoony. I don't nitpick much about the laws of physics that are violated on this show, but Glenn surviving would be akin to the Walkers ripping off his face and revealing that he and Heath had switched places using masks. :pinch:

Not exactly. I rewatched the scene where Glenn is supposedly eaten. It's fairly obvious that what is being eaten is Nicholas and not Glenn because Glenn's torso just isn't thick enough to be eaten from that height. I will concede to the anatomy of Nicholas's kill scene being way off. We all know Nicholas is on top of Glenn and we also know that Nicholas and Glenn are face to face on the ground so the zombies would be eating Nicholas's back. It's virtually impossible even for a zombie to go through the backside of the rib cages and be pulling out intestines. That is where a mistake was made. It was likely made on purpose to make you think Glenn was being eaten. All of that being contingent on Glenn surviving of course.

With the confrontation at the RV, are the Wolves now all dead?

I wouldn't assume they're all dead. People still speculate Enid being part of the Wolves and we still don't know the whereabouts of Judith. She could very well be gone and they just haven't shown that yet. Add to that the fact that one of those wolves was carrying baby food and you should really start asking some questions. If Enid is a part of the Wolves and she has Judith then she is likely holding up somewhere with other Wolves. I'm still personally not sold on her being part of the Wolves as of yet though.

This thread strikes me as kinda funny...it is like the RF after a loss in football (not nearly as crazy as the FF).

Awful coaching (writing, directing, and producing), need to up their game plan and quit making rookie level mistakes. Too many obviously missed opportunities.

The players need to make plays. The previous coaches players are too slow and just don't have the talent level to handle the game at this level (Alexandria residents). The new players can't carry the load and also cover for all the mistakes made by the mediocre holdovers (Rick's group trying to save all of Alexandria).

JMO :)

Did anyone find the blonde hairstylist kinda hot when she was killing that wolf? Was it just me? Okay, nevermind...:hi:

I found her "kinda hot" when she first appeared on the show Doc. That last jab with the scissors finished me off. :fool:

So are we headed for a story arc that transforms Morgan into this season's primary antagonist?? I hope not...

I wouldn't think an antagonist. Struggling with his moral compass maybe when presented with how Rick/Carol view what's necessary, but I don't see him posing a threat to Rick or any of his group unless there is some major plot shift coming.

I seriously doubt it. They discussed it on the Talking Dead also. They basically said Morgan and Rick are good friends and Morgan wouldn't travel all that way to meet with Rick only to become his enemy.

Walking Dead can easily make it to 15 seasons.

"easily?" I doubt that. that's just way too damn long.

would be nice if they could wrap it up in 10-12 seasons. otherwise, the show is going to get extremely repetitive (which it is already on the verge of being to begin with).

This huge herd of walkers would make for an excellent opportunity to break into the thriller dance. All of them in unison.
