The Walking Dead

we only heard the sound of his voice/didn't see him say anything during that closing scene. I just took it as foreshadowing/messing with us. my guess is he never really said anything as they were leaving the house.

EDIT: nevermind lol i just rewatched it, i was wrong. forget i said anything. carry on :whistling:

the day to night thing was terrible. very jarring indeed.

Yeah I actually rewatched it to make sure I didn't mis-remember something. Like I said, they probably have some lame explanation for it, but it's almost like they forgot they left the scene off like that. Had they just not had him talk and just looking like he was about to crap his pants, it would have been fine.

I bet next week is a clean up episode and everyone will complain it's slow and blah blah blah.

I think a lot will be that, but it also shows some of the group on a run. It shows Darryl pointing a gun shouting "Get back now!" at someone. I bet that someone might be a certain someone with a biblical name.

Any of yall watch Honest Trailers? If not, you should, they're phenomenal. They mainly do them for movies, but a few tv series have gotten the treatment.

Every tuesday they put up a new one. yesterday, they did Walking Dead S4-6(err...well half of 6 that is). they are always so spot on lol

Here's a pretty big potential spoiler for Sunday if you're interested. The source is usually spot on:

Rick and Daryl are chasing Jesus in this episode. They catch him and take him back to Alexandria as prisoner. He ends up escaping and breaks into Rick's house to talk to him. He sneaks into Rick's bedroom where Rick and Michonne are in bed together.

He then asks if he can join in and Rick says "thought you'd never ask".

Ok I made the last part up.

Careful, Rick, her sword is bigger...

Hey-oh!!!!!

The going theory is that it was a production vehicle for the set. Probably an honest mistake.

That would make sense, though I don't necessarily think Negan was in the car, it would more likely be more of his henchmen.

That or it was a legit goof.

What's funny is even if that was a legit car that was supposed to be on film there is no way if Negan was in it he could have seen who was standing on top of the tanker. The car is simply too far away.

Photos were leaked last season with Jesus on set. So we know the hilltop will be included in this season.

True, but it could be that said people in car just witnessed what happened, not that they could see for sure who did what. The word gets back to Negan, he ends up kidnapping a group with Daryl and then starts asking who did it and Daryl confesses, maybe after Negan is about to kill someone else.

Of course even if that is true, that would be a departure from Negan from the comic because in the comic, he kills rather indiscriminately. He wouldn't necessarily even care that Daryl himself did it, or even in fact he might kill someone else to punish Daryl more.

I think the "Negan finds out" part will probably happen, but I think the car thing was a goof.

I don't disagree with the first 2. That was some horrible editing from the end of the last episode until the beginning of this one. Honestly I can't really believe they let that happen because it was so glaring. Also, we didn't need Rick's quick flashbacks of Jessie, that was pretty stupid.

I already commented on the fight, I thought parts of it was cheesy. And the part were it showed everyone slashing was bad.

I also thought the scene with Glenn and Enid in the church was cringe-worthy bad. I don't know if it's the lines that are written for them or if one or both are just not great at acting, but their whole conversation came across as soap opera bad. It wasn't even like 2 real people talking to each other, just each trying to out-monologue each other; which that's been a criticism of mine of the writing on the show for a good while now.

Speaking of that, last nitpick, but I'm glad that Wolf guy is dead because he's another whose acting sucked something awful. Again, his dialogue sounded like a guy trying way too hard to be dramatic.

Having said all that, still a good episode as a whole.

Agreed on all but one account. I the guy who played the wolf did a fantastic job and genuinely nailed the "creep vibe"; especially with some of the one on one scenes with the nurse chick.

Anyone else notice him subtly call out Nicaterro on Talking Dead?

I watched Talking Dead. What are you referring to when you say he called him out?

The chick was a Psychiatrist.... Most are unqualified to do any real doctoring...a nurse would be more qualified.

I watched talking dead. Missed the call out. What did he say?

I totally agree with you. I thought he nailed acting the lunatic fanatic Wolf role.

Hey vader!
Are you still in Colleyville?

When Zika mutates slighty and the dead walk, need to know where the good people around me are located... :)

He vaguely suggested that TWD crew/leadership didn't really have their s#%@ together by saying he was basically left to create his own interpretation of The Wolf character without much input from the creative team.

Nicattero immediately got defensive in response, which kinda made it obvious that grievances were being aired out.

For a relatively unknown actor, he was being fairly bold with some of his comments.

I read that exchange completely differently. Benedict Samuel is the actors name and he turned to Greg several times but it appeared to me as though he was looking for reassurance in his answers from Greg more than anything. When he said nobody really told him about the character it felt more like an honest answer rather than a shot at Greg. Regardless I thought the guy nailed the part and the creep factor.

Yeah, man. I have actually seen you on 360 a couple of times. I recognized your plates.

If you ever see an orange Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with Vol plates, give me a wave.

That's too funny,
I have taken a picture of your Jeep to show my kids...

:hi:

I'm just glad I don't really notice these things people nitpick about lol. The sudden change to night, ect ect ect. There's a lot of little things like that people notice and it bothers them, but that's literally every TV show and every movie. The only thing that ever bothered me was that stupid van. Now that was just bad.

Even Glenn's amazing escapes I just chalk it up to having luck on his side. Luck will eventually run out. You can't sit there and say "howd he get out of that IMPOSSIBLE situation?!" Becuase how do you know its impossible? Its not. Highly unlikely and impossible are different things.

Also, the "mom mom" thing not being addressed is inaccurate I think. He was saying it really quietly, not loud enough to get the walkers to attack, so when they got to a small clearing they were going to send him to the church but Jessie was stupid and brought him along.

Another thing I wanna say is Father Gaberial went from hated to awesome this episode. His little speech in the church before he went out to fight was the best moment of the season thus far IMO. That was awesome.
