The Walking Dead

I'm just glad I don't really notice these things people nitpick about lol. The sudden change to night, ect ect ect. There's a lot of little things like that people notice and it bothers them, but that's literally every TV show and every movie. The only thing that ever bothered me was that stupid van. Now that was just bad.

Even Glenn's amazing escapes I just chalk it up to having luck on his side. Luck will eventually run out. You can't sit there and say "howd he get out of that IMPOSSIBLE situation?!" Becuase how do you know its impossible? Its not. Highly unlikely and impossible are different things.

Also, the "mom mom" thing not being addressed is inaccurate I think. He was saying it really quietly, not loud enough to get the walkers to attack, so when they got to a small clearing they were going to send him to the church but Jessie was stupid and brought him along.

Another thing I wanna say is Father Gaberial went from hated to awesome this episode. His little speech in the church before he went out to fight was the best moment of the season thus far IMO. That was awesome.

Yeah.....no. He was saying it louder there than they were talking later, and he made more noise there than he did when he was actually attacked.

Kinda expected a hangover show after last week's blow out. Wasn't a bad one tonight, they telegraphed the Rick/Michonne hookup from a mile away; lol.

I'm thinking the new guy is a "here to stay awhile" character... forgot his name but he sure made Rick and Daryl look like jackasses.

His nickname is Jesus. His scenes with Rick and Daryl were hilarious. He is a very important character from the comic, so unless the show deviates (which they do regularly) he'll be around for a while.

Rick's love interests don't last long. Will she make it through the season.

I have to give them credit for casting Jesus. That dude absoultely nailed it. One of the best characters in the comic, they casted it perfectly imo

I found something that bothers me, apparently it's only been a year and half since the start of the show. Huh I thought it was easily at least 3 years.

I thought it would be longer. Show has been running six years but it may be true because the baby doesn't age much. Did Rick's wife bang his buddy 30 minutes after he went to the hospital?

From my understanding it's more like 3 years post apocalypse. This is something you'd only know by watching The Talking Dead.

How did Jesus get out of the secure room and manage to get past Daryl? Then he gets a gun pulled on him again by Carl. This Jesus dude is a trip man.

Not a fan of the whole Rick & Michonne thing but you could see it coming for awhile now. The Jesus character seems he will ad some new twists. Hard to live up to last week's show but not a bad episode.

Two solid episodes coming out of the break. Hope the Jesus character is around for a while, because he adds a new dynamic and judging by his knack for getting out of hairy situations, will be a valuable member of the group.

Good episode IMHO. They nailed casting Jesus, and I was glad they made him pretty badass, though in the comic he kicks their asses worse the first time they come across him.

I liked the dialogue between Rick and Daryl, they actually sounded like real people for the first time in a while. And yeah the Rick/Michonne reveal would have been better had they not so badly telegraphed it at the beginning of the episode.

So basically from the comic they've basically split what Andrea became and gave her becoming pretty badass to Carol and gave her hooking up with Rick to Michonne.

Having not read the comic, i can't imagine either of these two things happening in the show!

This has probably been brought up in this thread, but they seem like they get too into making characters turn into walkers, even though it kind of doesn't make sense that they do.

What I mean is, the Lone Wolf guy was getting mobbed by walkers when he bit it, but shows up a few minute later as a walker and seemed pretty much all there. Same with Deana, she had a horde coming to get her, yet shows up wandering around the forest. Shouldn't there be hardly anything left of these two? I mean the guy that fell on Glenn was torn apart, and freakin' Lori was completely eaten (still stupid).

I thought the episode was just ok. only main problem i had was that I found most of the Rick and Daryl stuff just straight head scratching dumb for their characters. I saw Richonne coming a mile away, but that's not a big deal. also, the fact that Deanne somehow didn't get devoured in the hallway when she ran out of bullets, managed her way downstairs, didn't get killed in the group's miraculous/never ending stand against the walkers, then wound up in the woods wandering around and just happened to stumble upon Carl/Enid, and then immediately upon Spence/Michonne...meh, whatever.

I like Jesus. Looks like they got him down well. was nice to see most of the gang (especially Rick/Daryl) actually talking/acting like real people again. I was really worried the Spencer thing would be really dumb, but it was surprisingly kind of sentimental.

I was wondering the exact same thing about Deana. She should have at least had some chunks out of her.

The wolf guy I guess could have fought a few off before dieing and turning. Maybe.

Couple questions: 1. Why the hell were Rick and D driving that box truck in the middle of the field to begin with? 2. When they slid Jesus off the top, why didn't they just drive away? Why chase him in the field? That whole scene seems stupid and reckless by those two.

Because it is a TV show about zombies.

Not sure why they were in a field, I assume it was some shortcut. But as for stopping, I can see that since they had already left him and he showed back up on the roof.

You are watching the wrong show if you are questioning why they do certain things. Every episode they do incredible stupid stuff, but they have to add drama into the show somehow.

Everything about the Jesus situation was stupid and extremely predictable.
