The Walking Dead

Alicia Witt - IMDb

I knew her from the movie Urban Legend, but she laid pretty low until I saw her again on Justified.

Looking at her credits she was constantly working...just not in stuff that I watched.

If you think this chick has been constantly working....take a look at Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) ...he's been in a ton movies and shows that I never realized he was in.

Great episode. Carol and Maggie going ham against these nitwits felt good. I'm starting to think there will be more than one major death as well.

This season might be the best yet. I thought TWD was getting really stale and boring, but I've been at the edge of my seat this entire season. I used to DVR each episode and then watch them somethings a few weeks later. I make sure I watch them live now.

I can't look at IMDB at work, but wasn't she on Friday Night Lights as well? I haven't watched this weeks episode yet, but from the trailer it looked like Tara's mom from that show.

This show has made great improvements. Previously this episode would have been criticized as a filler episode but it was actually good. My only complaint was the dialogue got a bit cheesy with all the bad guys and some of them trying to act tough was unintentionally funny.

I thought it was funny how they all thought it was needed to put b*tch in most of their sentences to make them sound tough. I laughed at that.

I thought this episode was good but I got the feeling it is setting Carol up to be the one Negan takes out. I keep going back and forth between Carol, Abraham, and Glen (Glen is the least likely to me)

I think it has to be bigger than Abraham. Carol, Daryl, Glen, or Maggie imo.

I can't see AMC having Negan kill a woman for his first appearance. Not saying it ain't possible but I think they stick to a man. Robert Kirkman has stated that he regrets killing Abraham in the comics so quickly so maybe they'll save him for All Out War. The only characters that I could see making the biggest impact to the fans is either Glenn or Daryl getting their head bashed in by Lucille. I think they stick to the comic book death. (Glenn)

Some good character development for Carol and Maggie last night, but besides that, I found the episode rather boring. I know I'm in the minority, but I just found it overall meh. Most of that was probably due to some of the dialogue (mainly from the Saviors), as well as just being stuck with these characters in this small location for the entire episode. Just couldn't quite get entirely invested in what was going on.

count me in for Negan taking out more than 1 character in the finale (i mean, at this point, only killing one of them would seem pretty tame in regards to how many Saviors Rick's group has mowed down), though that might heavily depend on whether or not they go the comic route with Abraham (which I also personally hope they do). would be pretty insane to end this season with

3 huge character deaths (the 3 being Abraham, and 2 of either Daryl, Carol, Glenn, Maggie, Morgan.

pretty unlikely they'd go that far though.

Andrew Lincoln said that the final episode script made him physically ill. Now Norman Reedus hyped up last year's finale as being shocking (it was anything but) so that's a consideration...but I believe him. Neither Abraham's nor Morgan's death would do that IMO. Carol and Glenn's would but my prediction is Maggie and her unborn baby and on his way out, Negan pauses. We get a flashback enhancement of that car rolling up when Darryl RPGd those Saviors, and he brains Darryl. We know Norman Reedus is leaving the show, so maybe we don't see that part until the premiere next season...just my guess.

I knew the red head was Alicia Witt but who was the other chick the one interrogating Maggie?

I know I have seen her on something before but can't place it!?

I'm fairly concerned that they've had two Carol episodes in a row, things like this typically don't bode well.

I thought it was a great episode but I don't get Carroll's sudden change of heart the last few episodes. I thought she was just putting on like she did when she first arrived at Alexandria. Then when she was alone with Maggie she was still being passive.

It makes sense to me. She's realized she's becoming a monster so to speak. Just to live. I think she wants to believe Morgan that you don't have to kill, but she also still knows thats not possible if you want to live long term. Shes conflicted and it makes perfect sense to me. Shows she is still human, and not just a killing machine.
