That's kind of what I was speaking to before.
I saw an episode of Talking Dead where they admitted they quickly learned the difference between comic books and television.
That the majority of the fan base didn't want characters they have grown to love,to just die on a regular
basis.
Of course this will tick off a certain kind of fan, but it's usually the kind that also thinks phish is better than any comparative band around.
The reason being, other bands are successful, so they're just sellouts.
It's still better than 95% of the stuff on TV today. And that's for fans who skip commercials.
Ironically, the same people who b!^ch so much about this type of thing, (both bands on television), do their damnedest to be successful in their jobs.

You're generalizing what the criticism is, and in fact not even getting it right for many. It has nothing to do with the fact that it could be Glenn and/or Abe, it's how the show has been written up to that point that led to it.
