The Walking Dead

As a show watcher only, I find the Negan character unbelievable. Surely, someone would've killed this guy by now. He's constantly showing his underbelly to the people who have the most reason to want him dead. I understand that part of that is psychology, but I cannot believe that he hasn't kicked the wrong dog somewhere along the line.

he's a given the same monologue like 6 times already. Ok we get it needle dick, you think youre God.

I also don't get how this version hasn't been whacked yet. Coral had a loaded gun and Negan was right there open for a shot to the face. Shoot him. Shoot the fat **** then the douchebag that's 8 feet away. With Negan dead, who are these people fighting for? Who would they be afraid of? The fearful population is always the most fragile. History tells us this time and time again. Kill him and you kill the entire idea. Hell Im pretty confident stove top face would put down his weapon and run.

Need a sniper.

Sasha anyone?

Question: does Sasha still have her sniper rifle?

The rest of the crew appear to be biding their time.

Rick seems defeated.

Maybe they'd catch up if their friends' heads were pulverized, another enslaved and looking dead inside, taken on a Walker snipe hunt and almost being forced to chop off their own child's hand?

Didn't say I didn't understand his feelings of being defeated.

Yeah, I agree. I find it a bit hard to believe that someone hasn't killed him while he was waxing on

Hey Vader,

Were you at Oak Grove Baseball complex in Grapevine weekend before last?
Thought I saw your Orange jeep there...

My son had a baseball tournament there.

Right now I think the reason the Governor has been better is they adjusted the character for the screen. In the comic, The Governor is almost as over the top at times as Negan, but for the TV show they toned him down a bit but didn't sacrifice the essence of the character. Nor did they take away any of his comic iconic moments.

So far Negan has just come across as kind of a goofy bully; it probably hasn't helped that 3 of the first 4 episodes has been filled with him talking non-stop.

I've been saying this since the season started. Someone just needs to man up and shoot him in the face. Enough with the diarrhea of the mouth.

Well, he ain't going anywhere anytime soon because as far as I know, he's still alive in the comics.

I don't understand Rick making a big deal about giving the guns away by saying if they find us with one someone will die.... but he flat out lied about Maggie being dead.

Similar logic to Negantaking ALL the guns then expecting the tone able to go out and get more stuff for him. I get depleting the inventory so they couldn't mount a counter attack but they need something to hunt and defend themselves from walkers with.

How many episodes before Rick goes back into ass kicker mode?

I thought Spencer's initial reaction to Negan was strange; it seemed like it was the first time he has ever heard of him, but that can't be right; unless he was playing dumb, but the vibe of the rest of the town was kind of like "Who are these people"?

But then agian, Rick apparently did a very poor job of planning. Why wouldn't he hide some guns then make a fake inventory, instead of using one that listed every single gun they had?

I don't know how long it will be before Rick wakes up but if they follow the comic...

He will confide to Michonne (Andrea in the comic) that he's secretly planning an attack on Negan and is sort of playing along that he is Negan's b****.

I could give some leeway to poor planning and lack of hiding guns because he is in shock. He appears to genuinely feel responsible for the whole series of events and the deaths it has caused.

BUT they definitely went out of their way to show he was doing his best to hold back from attacking Negan so the old Rick is still there. MAYBE he has some Machiavellin plot he is keeping to himself.

I have a feeling that revelation doesn't come until the mid season finale.

I think the point with Maggie is that it was implied in that latest episode that Negan was going to forcibly take her back to his camp.

Well yeah but what are they going to do when she is back and they come for another offering? Think Megan will be happy Rick lied to him the first time?
