The Weightlifters Thread

Can I get some help from you all by tomorrow? I need to know what muscle group/workout I should do tomorrow.

Monday I had to do chest day with flat bench press, dips, pushups, etc. Tuesday was lower body with squats, lunges, stepups, etc. Wednesday we did high pulls, shrugs, power cleans, cleans, and a few other things. Today we had to do overhead squats, deadlifts, military press, and close grip bench.

My question is what exactly should I do tomorrow? I don't want to overwork a muscle group too much this week and we have been all over the place this week it seems. Mostly all lower body this week except on Monday. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like you could work in some back, Flowd.

You did deadlifts, so you can take it easy on the lower back. Pullups, pull-downs, rows, etc.

Kwebb you followed the Norton contest diet right?

Yes, he just gives you the basis and what not for the proper way to slow diet and the science behind it. I lost like 35lbs in 22 weeks. I never felt like I was starving myself, and only did cardio 2x a week (HIIT). He incorporates re-feed days which are great. My strength stayed the same which is a big plus for me. I personally would reccomend it for anyone who loves to lift and is trying to lose weight.

I just started drinking it, and I really like it. Prolly will never go back to regular milk. Coconut milk on the other hand is pretty nasty, but very healthy. I've been cooking in coconut oil and olive oil.

Convential wisdom right now is that ω−3:ω−6 is out of balance in the American diet in favor of 6's. There are peanut butters out there with ω−3.

Give hemp milk a shot

Hemp milk is god awful! And I can eat/drink some nasty stuff.

I bought some coconut milk, but didn't care for it. So I tried vanilla-flavored coconut milk. Adding it to my coffee is about all it's good for.

Tried it. Couldn't do it again. Too gross, IMO.

Really? I think it tastes great with either chocolate or vanilla. Dumb question, but you're not using strawberry, right? I ask because somebody actually did it with strawberry upon my vague recommendation of mixing it with protein powder.

Tried it with a couple of ON flavors (vanilla was better, but I still didn't like it that much). I hate strawberry protein powder. I got burnt out on it when I first started lifting. When I put the powder in the coffee it didn't mix well and just got clumpy. Trying to choke down chunks of coffee coated protein powder is no bueno.
