And there's my attempt at the Christmas tree...still got a lot of work to do

Yeah, deadlifts with light weight is awesome....also back extensions. Get that christmas tree cut in the small of your back. Just cause you can go heavy doesn't mean you should. The most I usually do is 185

SHIIT

No wonder I hurt myself. I did 185 today, after I backed off considerably.

A couple months ago, I was doing 275, and I'm not strong by any means. And then I was playing basketball the next day

I think I'll stick to what I'm doing. It felt good. I was probably pushing it. I know how to keep proper form, but I probably did too much weight, and wasn't able to maintain that form.

I did them yesterday and threw in deadlifts arbitrarily. Upper back and shoulders today, I guess.

I hate legs, but I love the feeling of accomplishment once it's done.

OH MY GOD!

Nothing worse than doing an extremely strenuous ab workout, followed the next day by mysterious sneezing fits!

Let me rephrase. There's nothing worse than doing an ab workout for the first time in almost a month, and then...

Basically situps on the decline bench and bicycles. Leg raises on the.... whatever it's called.

I don't really do abs. It's more of a diet thing for me. I do the roman twists for my obliques/serratus and that makes a world of difference. It's also an easy thing to add to your routine. They're easy.

Is that where you suspend your upper body and then twist side to side? I kinda do that, but I do a situp motion from left shoulder down to where my left elbow is vertical, then twist to where my right elbow is vertical, and then lay back down twisting to where my right shoulder is down. Hard to explain, but it's simple if I were better with words :)

I just do them seated. I have done them like that, but those are a lot more difficult.

I did confuse the name with roman chairs. Forget the "roman" part. I think they are just called oblique twists. I don't do them with any weight. Just a 5 lb aerobic bar.

Its all about diet, and cardio. I did abs twice a week and only about 10 sets.

To have a 6 pack without working out your abs, you need pretty much zero belly fat. If I work out my abs just a bit, I can get them to show through a minimal layer of fat. :)
