The Weightlifters Thread

I understand the frustration, but straight bar curls are much better bicep exrecises than EZ bar ones, and at most gyms(mine included) the only places to get straight bars are the squat racks or the benches. And lets be honest, the benches get a lot more traffic in the gym than squat racks do. So it's a lesser of two evils kind of thing.

I agree with both of you. I love straight bar curls, but I will not do them if the other squat racks are not open because I don't want to wait on a curler when I want to squat.

That would make a difference, but my gyms have set weight straight bars for curls, with weights ranging from 20-120lbs

I think my biggest peeve is the crossfitters who take a bar from another squat rack(making it useless) and turn their squat rack into a shoulder press/deadlift/burpee circuit platform and do their thing for 30 minutes.

I'm still sore from Monday chest and tri's. Back and bi's this morning. I like the new program so far. There are a lot of traditional bodybuilding techniques used. They certainly didn't reinvent the wheel but it's effective.

Off to the gym. Haven't been in a few days so I'm going to try to do a total upper body day. I hate not going, I feel like ass.
