Mixed feelings tonight after an evening of drinking on it (I live in the Philippines). I'm 42, Sting was my first favorite wrestler, followed by HBK, then Jeff Hardy.
I'm glad he went out his way. But he bucked (pun intended) tradition. I think he comes back one more time to "go out on his back". It's the right way to go

Taker won his last "match" with AJ. So it's not unprecedented. They both lost their final proper sigles match. Sting actually hasn't done a singles match in AEW. He elevated Darby plenty in the last few years. I think Sting is done in ring. He wouldn't have done the rafter drop if he wasn't.

Speaking of Taker and Sting,that's the match I wish we could seen at WrestleMania instead of that abysmal burial at the hands of HHH. Sting wanted the match,but Taker didn't and I think I heard Taker say it wouldn't live up to the hype.

Either way,if you have a 39 year career against the best in wrestling, not going against Taker is alright.

Outside of the shorter women's match,and FTR losing in their backyard,it was a great PPV. The main event,BCC/FTR and Ospreays match stole the show.

Taker vs Goldberg sure didn't. He might have had a point. We lost out on that match when Sting didn't go to WWE after WCW folded, I guess. Unfortunate, but not the end of the world.

I also really enjoyed Kingston vs Danielson. That was the "my guy wins or we riot" match, for me. If Bryan had won I'd still be talking $4!+.

Yeah,that match was a stinker with Goldberg. I forgot about Danielson/Kingston match. I liked the choppy,technical match it was. Kingston isn't Gunther, but he can give out some mean chops.

I don't know. That match with Mox to win the triple crown had some serious chops in it. There was one point that I swear Mox legit had to take a knee after an Eddie chop. How many guys can say that?
