The you don't want to get involved in this discussion thread (split)

Ok, looks like it finally made sense to you. You get now. I don't hate gays, just don't want to watch them play football. I don't hate women either, and I don't want to watch them play football too.

My original post wasn't meant to be political or religious. I'm just saying I don't want to watch gays play football. So, Ron assumed I was a gay hating homophobe.

I don't understand your reasoning. First, you've witnessed many gay people play football, you just didn't know it at the time. Would the knowledge that they are gay diminish the entertainment you get out of watching football? How does being identified as gay change the way a person plays football?

SIAP - Why is this in the recruiting forum?

I posted a tweet in the football talk thread from ESPN saying Michael Sam said he was homo, and it escalated from there and Freak split it into this thread.

I like to picture jesus as a ninja fighting off evil samurai.
You have your views, others have theirs. You're just openly trying to bash a religion just because it's not yours. You won't change his views trying to make a mockery of it. He isn't going to change yours. Nothing is happening except you making ridiculous statements like this, just to mock a person for what they believe. It's just as ignorant as others mocking Sam for what he believes in

If you were a NFL player and didn"t want to share the same showers and locker room with a homosexual because you don't want to have your junk looked at, would that be reasonable request to have. I wouldn't want a guy lusting after me while Im standing there all naked and beautiful. Just sayin

I'd say you're getting paid a lot of money to play a game, so get over your homophobia.

Trying to read the intentions behind the butt slaps given would be a little more entertaining unless you are the receiver of said butt slap.

Wow. What a lucky guy....showers after the game for him would be like if I(or any other hetero) got to shower with the cheerleaders after the game.

I stated earlier it just does something to me mentally, messes with my psyche. I don't want to watch a gay man play football. If I don't know he gay, then it can't bother me.

It's just a quote from a movie. Thought it was funny. This thread is an absolute joke.

Ah yes, the "I'm not like that so I don't understand how or why other are like that" argument. The logic, it's always air tight.

I guarantee that pretty much every player has spent time in a locker room with a gay person.

Or rather I should say there is a very high mathematical probability that every player has spent time time in a looker room with a gay person. They are just unaware of it.

God has never changed, never will. He's the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Even you can be thankful for that.

O contrar. I don't care what argument anyone makes, there is absolutely no way to reconcile the god of the OT with the god of the NT, assuming He is timeless and omnipotent (which He claims).

I thought you were a lunatic after the whole Cody Robinson debate a few years ago, "you". Now I know for sure!

*I grow up drinking at a your age and it turns into a real problem as I get older. People try to get me help
*I grow up with psychotic thoughts at a young age. People try to get me help.
*I grow up with a sexual addiction and it cost me my marriage. People suggest I get help
*I grow up wanting to be a woman but I'm a man. People embrace me.

Everyone was/is born in sin. With curses from their fathers and grandfathers before them. We all need help in some ways and if we're not taught correctly then it will get worse. Prayer and praying families is a Powerful thing.

Those that want to see will see. Those that don't will suggest I'm stupid or argue.... fine by me. I am so thankful God has allowed me to see things others can't.
