I once stayed at the Gold Club in ATL until closing time on a weekend night. I guess it was about 3 am. They wheeled out a wamlet (waffle/omlette) station like you'd expect at a Sunday brunch buffet.

We are brothers from different mothers. For all we know, we encountered each other in New Orleans during the past decades.

Girls did good. Middle one finished#9 in her backstroke, for the state! Gotta be top 8 for finals, barely missed it, but 9 isn't bad. Little bit finished lower, but she is 13, and was swimming against 16-18 year olds, and didn't finish last! Idk why, but he wouldn't let either swim to qualify in their best events, trying to get more here or something, but they both did good. Would've gotten 3rd place in that last relay, and a medal if not for the disqualification 😭. Proud of my girls, especially missing half the practice time, and everything going on with Tiffany.

Our whole shift is happy! They finally fired the trainee! He started off to the wrong one for asking him to do something, and they went above his buddies head (the boss he was friends with). Went straight to the plant manager, and they walked him out the door.

I went to CB Sunday. First time in a long time. My niece picked the place. The 'host' who was positioned just outside the front door on the porch was a young fella. He had a tablet on a lectern and would take your name for the wait list. That's all he did. He would just stare at the tablet with head down until someone walked up and gave him a name. This guy was literally within arm's reach of the door and never made a move to open it for anyone. Is this standard procedure at CB? WTF?
