Even if this one wasn’t either, you’re talking about a host trying to keep order at a CB (that’s Cracker Barrel for Rusty) on a Sunday. Finding the next empty table and keeping track of everyone waiting. Just because all you could see was someone coming up to tell him “table 13 is clear” (not a name 🙄), doesn’t mean the host wasn’t busily keeping everything organized. I’m with @vollygirl here. And I think it was you who said the turnover is crazy at those places. People doing their job and being sh** on because greedy people always expect more.

yeah it was busy and now they take call ahead seating, that alone makes the host job more challenging

So, your telling me that there are racist Cracker Barrels with disengaged youth making folks wait outside for a table, and that there are people willing to wait outside for a table to eat at a racist Cracker Barrel. 🤨

The tables seemed to be further apart but there were not empties that I recall. There was a sign on the two top in front of the fireplace that said nobody could be seated there due to COVID and that is where they had all their spray bottles of disinfectant parked.

Thinking someone should maybe open the door that he’s standing next to when old people, disabled people, or some lady carrying a baby walk up is greedy? I’ve studied a fair amount of value systems but never one that would lead to that sort of conclusion. I’m all ears if you care to provide the data you rely on and the analytics you applied to get there.

Because he’s busy with his actual job in a position that is perennially, and especially currently, understaffed? Very little science needed Copernicus.

I don’t think people had to wait outside. Some people like to sit on the rockers and play jumbo checkers.

He wasn’t doing anything but typing in a name every few minutes. He did not even have to call the names when a table was ready. That was handled by some lady on an intercom. As I previously posted, this location was well staffed. Since you went directly to an ad hominem I assume you know you’re full of crap.
