Things I'm happy about today

@NorCalVol67 ,I'm happy to say I've found you the perfect job! We had a guy come in today at the shop needing a starter fixed. He works for the female prison here in our county, and said they're desperate for help, all positions! He said the only downside, you have to be careful of those ladies trying to sleep with you!🤣

My dream job since watching blurry female prison movies on Cinemax back in the day.

What positions?

That my son will begin semester teaching classes remotely. He and our grandaughter have been insparable since her birth. WashU wasc conducting classes remotely at the time of her birth, and the universityn allows a semester of paternity leave. Grandsons have been in preschool since fall. Having that much.

Bet that nearly all of us dads remember we at most got a couple days off from work to attempt to be of help at home. And I doubt that I was ever much help with the ever-changing hours and out-of-town travel

Had to take vaca. I want my f'ing paternity leave. All 16 weeks of it!

Its both now I think , My SIL took like 3 weeks in Dec
I meant the 8 weeks spread over a year. I know times have changed, but women are mostly likely in the 0 to 6 weeks after birth window and don’t have the luxury of deciding within a year window, but I’m old school, not old, just old school.

My employer just implemented 4 weeks of leave for the father ,"paid bonding time."Timeframe for use is within 12 months of the birth of the child. I have a very young co worker who just used his 4 weeks. 11 months after his sons birth.
