i'm not happy about the choice on the other side either. but i do know i don't trust the VP candidate with the intelligence of a moose.

really, it's damned if you do and damned if you don't.
I'd prefer to be damned with the guy less bent on the government as savior to the sorry.

yes, but over ideology. Similarly, our idiotic Speaker could never get her whiny liberal arse elected in Nebraska.

That's for sure. She couldn't get elected in a lot of places. Did I mention Tennessee should fire Fulmer today. :)

War hero, fighter pilot, someone who saw the Fannie/Freddie fiasco coming and tried to do something about it.
Hunter, pilot, lifetime NRA member, mother of 5, and pretty damn hot looking

vs.

Community organizer (who admits his efforts failed), gun grabbing socialist, friend to 60's radicals intent on destabilizing the US government
Single dad, drinking problem, mental instability, admits he's not the best choice for VP, claims to have a higher IQ then fails to prove it.

to me the choice is clear, but then my opinions are well known and not really intended to influence any body else'.

I despise modern, politically correct liberalism. People like Pelosi, Reid, Biden, Obama all serve an agenda that has little to do with the US Constitution.

I thought Todd Palin was the pilot? How did Mccain try and stop the Fannie fiasco? What's wrong with Biden being a single dad, his wife was killed in an auto accident and he is re-married?

Doesn't that create problems for you every time a Governor runs for President then?

Not at all. Past governors (who are nationally unknown) make themselves known by conducting regular interviews and press conferences. Sarah Palin has conducted two interviews since being chosen by McCain three weeks ago. Two interviews in three weeks! And ZERO press conferences. It's unprecedented and it makes no sense. What are they trying to hide? She's apparently bright. She's obviously attractive. And she's the most popular Governor ever! So why are they hiding her? She should be talking to press everyday. What are they afraid of?

The fact that she might be an incompetent woman.

I think you're right on Todd being the pilot, I thought I'd heard Sarah flew too, but maybe not. There's nothing wrong with being a single dad, but if Palin can be crucified for being a working Mom, I can use similar hyperbole against Biden.

As for McCain seeing a looming crisis with Fannie/Freddie:

GovTrack: Senate Record: FEDERAL HOUSING ENTERPRISE REGULATORY REFORM... (109-s20060525-16)

also, back in 2003 the Bush Administration tried to do something but was stopped by idiots like Barney Frank who claimed there was nothing wrong with Fannie/Freddie.

at 18 years of age, you are hardly qualified to judge the competence of somebody who's actually lived in the real world.

Hey, I call 'em like I see 'em. You might be right, at the ripe old age of 18, I probably shouldn't be calling out someone for incompetence.

But still, I watch the interviews, and this woman cannot get outside her talking points without sounding like a jackass. It's just the truth.

so what do you think of Biden, who thinks President Franklin Roosevelt, in 1929, addressed the nation on TV regarding the Great Depression?

I chuckled a little. Don't worry, if the Dems say something stupid, I laugh just as I would if it was a Republican.
