Because that is inconsistent with looking at who teams have played to determine who is better.

Virginia Tech has played a better schedule than Utah. Yes, they lost to the worst team they played and have two losses, but the ACC is a considerably tougher than Utah's opponents is it not?

Either schedule matters or it doesn't. Which is it?

The way I understand this conversation, the argument is TCU is better than BSU because Utah is better than Virginia Tech. And that was why I injected BSU, as I am trying to make a point that no matter what, BSU is better than Utah imo.

I would agree with that, but I wouldn't consider BSU a lock if they played.
