Actually he is a sophomore in high school now...still listed as 6'7 according to 247, I'm an AAU coach in MS and I saw him play last summer and he is huge!!! He plays on Penny Hardaways AAU team
I give him ONE hit from an Alabama LB to go from Stokes to Strokes. Dude might be a great athlete, but unless he's been in pads hitting for the last 10 years of his life, dude isn't ready for SEC football. ESPECIALLY as a TE as some of you are suggesting.
Right, except he has been down on the block hitting people without pads on. Get off your high horse and get over yourself. How about people like Graham and Gates going from college hoops with none of that "in pads hitting for the last 10 years" to getting hit by Ray Lewis. And neither one of them is as big or strong as Stokes.
I don't care if he plays football. What I do care about is your illogical fallacies you continue to provide without substantiating. Nice attempt at a misdirection though, kiddo.
The FACT is Stokes is TOO SOFT to play SEC football. We can argue it all day and night, but you'll never see it happen, which is why I'm right, and you're wrong.
So which is it? He is too soft or he doesn't have enough experience getting hit in pads for 10 years? I am not following?
I will speak for him. Certainly while not "most", but here is a list just off the top of my head.
Antonio Gates
T.Gonz
Jimmy Graham
Julius Thomas
Jordan Cameron (sort of)
Not enough experience getting hit = TOO SOFT. Like I want a TE who is going to get POPPED and fumble every time. Let the slow, white kid who's used to getting hit play TE and put down this pipe dream of Stokes playing football for the first time in his LIFE.
So all humans that don't have enough experience getting hit are too soft to play football in the SEC?
So do you wanna go back and explain how so many guys in the NFL with 1 year or 0 years of college football experience don't have this problem?
Otherwise you can continue providing an argument with nothing but your rudimentary opinion with no evidence to support your point.
Still dancing around my question I see. How is that relevant? I don't care if he plays football. I don't know if he would even be any good. I just know that the points that you are making are baseless and you defend them with illogical drivel.
The facts are as follows:
1) You don't know that he is too soft to play because he hasn't yet. If he comes out gets pegged and fumbles the first time, I am pretty sure CBJ won't have much faith.
2) You don't know that he can cut it either..
3) He may or may not play and bickering like children changes nothing.
