Three favorite signees?

Chandler, Reid and Butler.
Chandler will be a great back here sooner than later. He's a very good compliment to Kelly.
Reid has that killer attitude and I have no doubt will Give His All For Tennessee.
Butler could be very surprising. I think he could play end, or put on a couple pounds and move inside.

There is a lot of negativity and people complaining about this class. How about something a little more positive. Who are your three favorite recruits and why?

1. Ty Chandler- Has the potential to be one of the best backs we've seen in a long time.

2. Trey Smith- The kid is simply a beast.

3. Eric Crosby- I think he is very underrated. When you combine his size, leverage, and athleticism, I think he'll give a lot of offensive linemen trouble.

In 2-3 years we will find out that 10-12 of these recruits will be very very good football players and our record will show it.

I'll do it this way too.

Tier 1 (91+ composite): Smith/Chandler (can't pick 1)

Tier 2: (85-90.99 composite): Jordan Murphy

Tier 3 (84.99 or lower composite): Shawn Shamburger

I think that Murphy can be all SEC when he goes through a couple of S&C Springs and Summers. Kid has a lot of talent.

So I'm counting about 20 different guys that are mentioned; not just the same 6 or so named by everyone.

To me that's pretty impressive. I'm excited to see what this class does in a couple of years.

Thanks for the input as I don't know enough about these guys to have any insight.

Chandler, Gray, Shamburger

Ignont, Smith, Page

Reid, Bembry, Murphy

Crosby, Cimaglia, Calbert

The guys who were whining about the class must've not watched any of the recruits. I can't believe I read one fan call all these kids, except 2-3, garbage!

I've been following recruiting like many of you even before it was a big deal...and every year there are fringe followers and of course some who go overboard and call the class "trash" and actually tweet to these kids (now that's a really STUPID thing to do no matter the issue). So I skip right over those comments because most of these people just don't watch tape, follow the needs of said team which directly correlates to recruiting, or really know much past the star rating system which I dare say few understand....OF COURSE MOST "5" STAR RATED KIDS ARE PLAYERS...OF COURSE WE WOULD WANT EVERY CLASS FILLED WITH 5 STARS..But the great misunderstanding about all this is....THERE'S JUST NOT THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE KIDS....there's exceptions to every rule and occasionally you'll have an NFL close to ready 5 star...occasionally...but not often so for goodness sakes ladies...calm down...

If the Nancys in the FF care so much about stars go to Hollywood blvd its full of them. Personally i believe in this class and those who get paid real money to evaluate, our staff.

I agree Newt. The players that were not up to snuff were long gone by signing day. I didn't think earlier in the season that Coleman was worthy, but after this season I think he has solid value. No superstar, but a really good player.

Agreed. I have my concerns about this class but our 4 receivers will be studs. I think our DBs will too. Worried more about the DL (I think Butler is the best we took there and Bembry if he's a DE), also worried about LB, and RBs not named Chandler

You're worried about Ignont, Page and Reid?...Why? All three of those guys are going to be really good.

Just an opinion.. I think Page is the best of the 3 and he isn't ready right now.

I'm very concerned about LB play this year outside of Kirkland
