Chandler was the one recruit we absolutely couldn't miss on IMO. Dude is elite.

Trey Smith is probably the most ready to play now. He will be AA before he leaves

Ignont will be special

No one mentioning Bennett. I have this feeling he's going to be really good

James Brown makes me feel good.

I think Chandler and Smith are no-brainers, so I will go with:

Butler- Parade all-american with 27 sacks last year, if we coach him up,future draft pick, imo

Murphy- smooth, best WR in this class, should get immediate playing time

Ignont- freshman all-SEC, remember I said it 1st

There was worry over Murphy's grades? I hope he makes it to campus. WR is in bad need for quality depth in 2017

Yes sir. I agree with u. We really need Murphy to qualify. I feel like he can contribute right away and we need him to

Btw, I like they way Palmer goes up and gets/high points the ball. Hopefully, he can contribute at WR this year

1. RB Ty Chandler
2. OT Trey Smith
3. ATH Maleik Gray

2 Runner Ups would be DT Eric Crosby & LB Will Ignont.

Yea, BB eliminate Smith and Chandler. Since, u are the DB man, tell us which 2 DBs, u like most and why

Not to call u out, but u do a good job giving us the DB coach's point of view

Still, think u are full of it, occasionally

Okudah
Wade(Trinity Florida)
Stevens

Bennett had an offer from pretty much everyone except Clemson (Bama, FSU, OSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Southern Cal, Miami, Louisville, UF, UGA, LSU, UT, just to name a few. I'm trying to figure out if his lower "ranking" was due to his size and age. I mean, he's not small @ 6'2 280. Clearly if Saban, Meyer, Smart, Harbough and Fisher saw something in him, he could be the steal of the class.

Leaving out the obvious choices like Chandler, Smith, Gray, etc....my favorites are Cheyenne, Bembry and Butler. Cheyenne to me seems to have a Josh Dobbs type character, and not to mention pretty sick film as well. Butler seems to be way more mature than a high school senior (and not to mention just a large man) and Bembry looks like he just knocks the teeth out of people.

Shamburger could end up being the best DB of the bunch IMO. A good example of somebody getting lost in the shuffle because he moved.

He looks real good. So many underrated guys in this class. I think this class will surprise a lot of people.

He's my least favorite. 😎

I like all of the DB's we signed. They all seem to have something about them That their rankings don't quantify. Shamburger happens to just be my favorite.

To me he looks like the one with the most football smarts of all of them. He may or may not have the most pure talent, but he already seems to know what to do. He's great at closing on a play. He isn't afraid to tackle. He is also starting off his college career a year older than the others.

Biggest drawback to me is the fact that he missed his Senior season.

Right at 6' 190 lbs already. Let Rock do some work with him over the summer and he'll physically be ready to play by seasons start. My guess is he'll see special teams play and get reps as a freshman in the defensive backfield.

JMO of course

What don't you like about this kid?

He's a college kid dominating young guys. That's my biggest problem. A 19 year old has a big advantage on 14-18 year old kids. IMO I'm always wary of older kids in HS. How long did it take him to dominate HS? Why didn't he dominate when he played against guys his own age?

Ya I didn't know he was 19... But did he dominate with good technique or just brute strength...

I mean he'll look great versus some young guys. Especially in run support. He may end up good. I'm not high on him or calling him a bust. I'm neutral on every prospect not name Ignont, Smith or Chandler. This class has more potential than sure things in it. They have to be developed and I'm going to sit back to see what happens.
