I agree i think its a strength of the class, Shoop got his guys.

I reeeeraaaallllyyy don't understand being worried about Ig. The other two need some size added, but otherwise I think they'll be ready to go by their second year...my big prediction for this season...Reid will be a heat seeking missile terror on special teams.

I think Chandler and Smith are no-brainers, so I will go with:

Butler- Parade all-american with 27 sacks last year, if we coach him up,future draft pick, imo

Murphy- smooth, best WR in this class, should get immediate playing time

Ignont- freshman all-SEC, remember I said it 1st

Concur...you gotta toss Chandler and Smith out.

Then pick three.

I am still studying video.

LeBruzza might have thw best tape.

My three

Are

Ried- too good to redshirt

Butler- same

Jackson- Looks and runs like Lamar Jackson of Louisville.
His speed at headiness at safety are at a premium for us.

I think the preferred walk-ons are gonna surprise us all in a couple years. I hope Cimalgia turns out to be a huge contributor.

Chandler, Butler, labruzza. I think all 3 will have a role by mid-season.

1. CB Cheyenne Labruzza
2. RB Ty Chandler
3. OT Trey Smith

DE Matthew Butler and WR Jordan Murphy are up there as well.

There is a lot of negativity and people complaining about this class. How about something a little more positive. Who are your three favorite recruits and why?

1. Ty Chandler- Has the potential to be one of the best backs we've seen in a long time.

2. Trey Smith- The kid is simply a beast.

3. Eric Crosby- I think he is very underrated. When you combine his size, leverage, and athleticism, I think he'll give a lot of offensive linemen trouble.

I think the under the radar surprises will be Butler, Bembry, Page, and Labruzza.

I agree Ulysees.

Ignont is a beast. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a ton of playing time as a freshman.

I don't know a lot about Reid, but I trust some of the posters who seem to really like him.

I think the steal of the class will prove to be Page or Shamburger, though Page may not see much action until his So. year.

Yes, seriously. Just an opinion. Not sold on Ignont. Reid had no interest from Fla schools. Page is my favorite of the 3 tbh

Must be because he played in Georgia. He can become a really good LB, but he has to become more aggressive and improve his strength and reactions. I have seen him play and his team went to the semifinals this past year.

Yeah I've known people that have seen Page play more than once and say he's the real deal just thin

I think with his speed and instincts Reid will be perfect for the Star position in Shoop's 4-3 defenses.

Jordan reminds me of I'Tavius Mathers from Murfreesboro Blackmon.

Who you thinking?
I don't know why but he reminds me of Kevin Faulk from the old Pats teams... Seems like the same build same toughness.... I might be crazy and I even had to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me so I went and looked up some of Kevin faulks highlights to make sure... Seems pretty similar... I would say the typical coaches stuff about pad leverage and twich and vision and speed and how fluid his body is... And body control but they are different in age so I can't really make that claim there... I think Jordan is more elusive then Faulk was in open space... What you think?

I hate the Pats, so had limited viewing of Kevin Faulk.

Jordan definitely has extremely fluid movements. I can see a bit of OJ Simpson with the Bills in there. However, as you say about Faulk, Jordan is more elusive in the open field. Once he gets out in the open, he reminds he of David Palmer....aka, The Deuce in Loose.

I agree I had to go back and see Kevin Faulks tape too to make sure and it seems just about right... Jordan can be really good I just hope they get him involved in the pass game as a third down back... We will see I guess.

I know, most of u all would say," we have 4 decent players in this whole class". But I have 3 more:

Eric Crosby, 6'1, 325. He is explosive, great 1st step and for a 300 pounder, can run sideline 2 sideline. SEC ready for his FR year

Solon Page. 5A Georgia player of the year. 175+ tackles last year. He will play next year.

Terrell Bailey, mad ball skills. 2 picks next year and special teams
missle

Yea, BB eliminate Smith and Chandler. Since, u are the DB man, tell us which 2 DBs, u like most and why

Not to call u out, but u do a good job giving us the DB coach's point of view

Still, think u are full of it, occasionally
