She was a tad better yesterday, but not so good today. We're going down in a few minutes, I'm making dinner and enough to take them some. She's not eating good, but loves my meatloaf, so Tiffany wanted me to make some to see if she'd eat. At least the Florida sister is gone a few days. She got her taxes back, and said she was going to go back and relax a few days. That means she'll be there drunk until she runs out of money . You'll like this, her oldest sister texted her earlier, "we've got covid, you think it'd still be okay to go to the hospital?" . I do know also, the Dr came by today, and said that they may just not do chemo anymore. I don't know details about that, except he thinks it made her worse.@joevol33, how's your MIL doing with her lungs?
Let’s hope your Magical Meatloaf is effective! She was a tad better yesterday, but not so good today. We're going down in a few minutes, I'm making dinner and enough to take them some. Good lord. I have Ebola, think it would be okay if I came by.She was a tad better yesterday, but not so good today. We're going down in a few minutes, I'm making dinner and enough to take them some. True story. When Tiffany was diagnosed with lupus, none of us really knew anything about it. I mean, you don't research stuff that you don't deal with normally. That said, when her oldest sister found out she called Tiffany. She was trying to comfort her, and ended her comfort speech with, "look at the bright side, at least we all have an STD now".I only thought her sisters came down with O.P.P.
Bless his heart, that is how he has to think right now to keep his hopes up for his wife and they are all in my prayersIt'd be useless, he's holding on her every word, because he wants everything to be okay. I understand that, but he's not going to accept reality, he'll take anything else. Before we left he was telling us that all her breathing issues would be over soon as they drained the fluid. Pneumonia was better, and the fluid (from the pneumonia he thinks) was the last thing, and she'd be like new. In reality, Tiffany has been on the phone with him since they finished, because he doesn't understand why her breathing actually got worse since the procedure. They can't get her oxygen above 80 right now, and that's with oxygen on.
This is why it is important for people to have their end of life decisions documented. It just limits all of the fiasco.I'm on the verge of not being nice. I completely understand wanting to hold on, but there's gotta be a point of understanding we're all leaving here someday, and not making someone suffer.
