It's so nasty of the sister to let her jealousy of Tiffany steer here behavior regarding their mother. "Look at meeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! I'm the only one who really caaaaaares!!!!!!!!"

We're eating at waffle house just down the road from the hospital, before we go. Trying to get Tiffany in the fighting mood😂. She did finally say something to her sister, and her sister blocked her on everything. Gonna be interesting when we walk in short.😁

They were planning on loading her up, moving to Florida, and Mayo clinic was going to heal her. I think they figured out, Tiffany said, that you don't just walk in there. Her dad, and I'm sure fueled by her sister, is just bashing the Dr for saying she's in bad shape, and has to be stable to do chemo. Tiffany is trying to explain to them that they're not being mean, but they have to be honest. I had thought her sister was playing the dad to get the house. Tiffany thinks she's trying to be his buddy through this, so when her mom does pass away, she'll get him to Florida. She has no home, or job, and his retirement and SS would pay for her somewhere to live. IDK, that's just us talking.

Sounds very believable.

SMH, until my head has pretty much fallen off my body and rolled away along the floor.

I do know one of the scans said she had cancer at the base of her skull. IDK if it's that getting into her brain, lack of oxygen, meds, or what, but like I said she's saying weird stuff. There were several things, but before we left she told me I need to get home, because Tiffany has one of the girls in a cage locked up. IDK what it is, but something isn't right there in her mind.

That can be a sign of a lot of things, including infection, which left untreated, can develop into sepsis.

I’m so worried about your MIL. Is she still in the hospital, or home, or ?

What pisses me off the most is that this sister has taken away her dad's choice of how to spend this time with his wife.

Absolutely, and his emotions have him lost to reality already. He thinks that the hospital is keeping her, because they're supposed to be healing her cancer. Hospitals don't keep you just because you have cancer, and they're going to try to heal you. I don't know if that's his mind, or something she's convinced him of. That's why he's so mad at the Dr for saying she's going to have to get in better shape, or they're not doing chemo anymore.

Are they giving her any type of narcotic? Some older people cannot tolerate them or can be allergic to some of them.

Right after my Mother's first of two unsuccessful hip surgeries within a week, they gave her Morphine right after surgery and then oxichodone on top of that and she was pretty much unconscious for a week. Also years ago my Father in law had to have part of his leg amputated and he was alert right after surgery and then they started the morphine and soon he did not know my husband (his son) so we asked them to cut back on the morphine and they said if they did that that he would go into shock. He quit talking and was in the hospital long enough for his leg to heal, but he never came home.
