You’re ridiculous. Do you honestly think this kid was pursued by the staff at the end? There’s kids like Hardy and McDaniel that we didnt get but you know we wanted. There was zero pursuit or push for Grimes at the end.

Callahan, Hubbs and all the recruiting gurus have said this exact same thing. The only SEC school that he was a take for was USC or Vandy.

I am confused, Grimes was a starter in the all star game, and then continued to rotate in. He slow trotted after ball carriers when a little hustle would have got a tackle. When rushing the QB he seemed to slow dance with an O lineman, and he was asking for the dance. I kept waiting for him to make a difference, he never did. I think he would ride the pine at vandy.

I have been looking through rivals articles to see if his performance throughout the week is mentioned but I haven't seen a thing. It sounds like he even disappeared in drills.

This thread is like the twilight zone. Callahan, Hubbs and everyone has said the staff did not recruit him very hard. No one is really which position he would play.
