People stargazing would have said the same about Sauce Gardner. Not saying this kid is the next Gardner, but none of us can say for sure what he will/won't be in 2-3 years. There are a couple hundred 3* DBs out there, and our coaches have evaluated and decided to take a chance on this kid. So have multiple other P5 schools including Mizzou, who is this years version of us last season.

Remember how dumb Georgia was to sign this guy? Look at his offers…Army and Bucknell? Idiots! At least they didn’t beat out Missouri, NC State, & UCLA for him. That would’ve been terrible.

I'm not worried about Mizzou, this kid can he help beat a school like that sure, but he's not getting us closer to Bama, UGA etc.
I live in the area this kid is from, athletes from here are lacking to put it kindly.

That logic would have kept you from recruiting kids like Cam Seldon.

Now, but he's originally from Kingsport.
He jumped to Knox Catholic then to Ensworth because of his dad causing problems.
I get that, but what does the quality of athlete in Kingsport have to do with Sensabaugh? His competition wasn’t Kingsport kids, his competition was the most difficult private school division in the state.

His last year yes, but coming up through the system all the way through his So. Year he played against pretty weak competition.

Had trouble getting on the field at Dobyns Bennett before he left. Some of that could have been because of Dad meddling

Let’s be real. There are way more examples of 3 stars being 3 stars than the next cam Sutton. Doesn’t mean you do or don’t sign them but you guys throw one stud out there out of 4000 a year and act like it’s gospel.

This..... For every Cam Sutton or Ladd Mckonkey theres a hundred RJ Perrys and Tee Hodges.

You realize he didn’t grow from the ground right? So where hes from on the map has little consequence.

His dad spent almost ten years in the NFL. So “he’s from” good genes.

He’s a plan d. It’s ok to admit it. Hopefully he turns into another cam Sutton.
Bingo. But if you admit that well you are called an ass. If you think we should be able to recruit better players than this, you are an ass. Basically any recruit TN recruits, you have to absolutely love 100% and think they are absolutely worth a scholarship just because one of our coaches thinks so.

I don’t get the people talk in g about the kids family. What does that have to do with anything? And like you if he comes here I hope he definitely balls out. If he does, I will gladly say I was wrong about him. I have been wrong about a lot of our recruits.
