What? That’s not what you said before. You referred to UGA off-season as the example for the type of players we need. All they did was go fast in a car 😂

Their upbringing had nothing to do with it. Spoiled rich kids also drive fast.

yep i got busted driving over 100 one time…. i’m lucky it didn’t happen to me.

If Bates signs with FSU, and we sign this kid..... That's like getting a participation award.

I hope I'm wrong and the kid is a star, but I'm not seeing it.

Take a portal corner with experience all day over a project. We ain’t got time for projects at key needs. This day and age you can plug and play. Portal isn’t perfect, we had peeli get injured and Thornton had a slow start but he started. I think more consistent qb play would have helped him though.

Jimbo just got fired and paid more than Huepels entire contract. The money is flowing in the CFP era and with extended field next year we aren’t going to wait. I want Huepel to succeed but he can’t string together 8 win seasons and not get on the hot seat. It’s not made up it’s the new landscape for big programs in college football.

You really think what I said isn’t true? I didn’t bring NIL in the game, I didn’t expand the playoff field, and I didn’t fire jimbo although any of us would with those deep pockets. Tennessee is a top 10 if not 5 program. After Huepel pulled a miracle last year the money poured in. They won’t accept missing the playoffs. I don’t care if it’s year 4. He will be on the hot seat next year getting 8 wins.

Oh I agree with you. Signing this kid signifies you have struck out and have to go back to a fall back. I would much rather go to the portal than rely on signing a former Vandy commit.

I saw the kid play earlier this year against Union City. Honestly he looked good but it’s hard to tell because Union City doesn’t pass much. The safety committed to Michigan and the lineman for the 2025 were more impressive. Ensworth was just so dominant that Union City looked bad and they were a good team.
