Plenty of those - that’s straight line speed. Which is even more disparate at the HS level.I don't recall every elite defensive player scoring 90+ yd td runs.
Lol what? Only special, generational, top 5 draft picks score 90 yd TDs in…. HS?Exactly. SPECIAL, generational players who become top 5 draft picks do that. That's very different than every elite high school player.
That said, I'm fine with whatever they do with Boo and tend to think he'll be a Safey at UT, at least to begin with.
Didn’t say that. I was simply assuming you could discern the difference between EVERY elite high school player and a generational NFL talent. The generational NFL talent doing something does not prove that every elite high school talent does. It also doesn’t mean that some don’t.Lol what? Only special, generational, top 5 draft picks score 90 yd TDs in…. HS?
Really? Interdasting.
So what are you attempting to say, lost in all that gobley-goop?Didn’t say that. I was simply assuming you could discern the difference between EVERY elite high school player and a generational NFL talent. The generational NFL talent doing something does not prove that every elite high school talent does. It also doesn’t mean that some don’t.
It’s simple logic (in the literal sense…don’t confuse some for all).
SPECIAL, generational players who become top 5 draft picks do that.
You think a freshman DB is going to play “early and often” at WR?Boo is outstanding Football Player both sides of scrimmage he excels at. I believe the coaches will know were he is able to contribute early and often because we need more exceptional gifted players on the field. Same as Matthew's he will play early and often at WR special talent plays. In CHRIST Alone
You said -It’s really not as hard as you’re making it.
SPECIAL, generational players who become top 5 draft picks do that.
And I think will, when it comes his turn to play. Anyone with a modicum of sense could see that wasn’t going to be this year.seldon could and would if he played.
I said “……” ? It doesn’t appear you understand what anyone said.You said -
In reference to 90 yd TDs …. in HS
Boo has 90 yd TDs in HS
So is he “special, generational, top5” because he looks “electric” with the ball… in HS?
Or are you just flailing in your backpedal?
(Something Boo won’t do at Tennessee because he will be playing DB as an elite athlete)
Yeah the staff seems extremely hesitant to put freshmen out there for any extended action during competitive games. You guys are fooling yourselves if you think he will play his freshman year other than special teams, not a knock on Carter its just we dont play freshmen
100%Yeah the staff seems extremely hesitant to put freshmen out there for any extended action during competitive games.
I hope they reevaluate that. I think if we had started Ricky Gibson (Jordan Thomas as well) earlier in the year the DBs wouldn’t have dropped off as sharply once Hadden went down. Our experienced DBs are closer athletically to NFL LBs than NFL DBs and limits our ability to run man coverage effectively.
So all that to say nothing. Coulda saved yourself a lot of key strokes.I said “……” ? It doesn’t appear you understand what anyone said.
I said Eric Berry is a special generational player. That’s because he was one of the greatest players in the history of UT football and an NFL pro bowler. You’re really not making whatever argument you’re attempting to make as well as you think you are.
I didn’t say Boo is or isn’t special/generational. Or that one necessarily must be to have a 90 yard touchdown in high school. The point I made was that EVERY elite high school player does not do that, as you said. And that’s pretty obvious. And easy to understand. It’s weird that you’re having such difficulty grasping this.
