Nope. No way. A couple of really well-informed posters have told us per their fireside chats with Heup that this is not possible. This kid is a phenomenal athlete. His knock has always been his height, which is exaggerated a bit in his profile. We’ve recruited him as a DB. That’s indisputable. He may switch just because Heupel has been able to use smaller bodies at slot. It is harder to hide height disadvantages at DB when the high-pointing strong/tall receivers is such a common tactic these days.
Watching #2 at Safety is so cringy at this point. That int return today looked like he was running in molasses.Every time another dozen or so additional people post (as if they are each the first to think of it) that they want Boo on offense, the stronger my feeling gets that the coaches (and Boo himself) are right to want him at DB. You just know these posters are the same people who complain constantly about our secondary. It's tiresome, but educational.
So many INTs! So many game-changing INT returns! LFG, Boo!
Can he suit up in Orange next Saturday about 3:30 in Neyland?Watching #2 at Safety is so cringy at this point. That int return today looked like he was running in molasses.
Every elite HS player looks amazing with the ball in their hands.
If Boo can play DB in the SEC, that’s where he needs to play.
