Maybe ..........OD really has relayed the truth, based on what he has seen and been told. It would take tons of free time to mastermind this smoke screen. Either way, he hasn’t “let us down.” If anything, he has helped time go by faster and kept us entertained. Kudos to you OD. Thanks for....well....all you did.

Thanks...I tried to deliver you everything I knew and the truth, because I felt like y’all needed to know. We are Tennessee fans, and any info that I could bring or anyone else does on another recruiting thread is a great thing I believe. All the way through this thread I remained positive, excited, and always thought that things were so well in his recruitment. I’m not going to let you down regardless of Chris, nor any other recruit that I might know. I’ve even given rumors on the hill, some were right, some were wrong. So now this is where everything stands, and it is going to take me a while to get over this one. I won’t get mad at him, but some may feel that it was a letdown of some sort in the last two days.

It's not your fandom or passion credibility that is a letdown, it's your content of information. I personally didn't and still don't care if Russell and UT unite since there are better players still available, but I do recall your over and over guarantees of Russell being all VOL ! ... yeah about that content ?

The thing is, I have been of this mindset for as long as I've been following recruiting; long before Pruitt got here, and said that. I think and ponder on the ones that choose to wear the orange and white, and what their place in our program and history might be. I have never thought twice about those who chose elsewhere over us, except for one...and that was Trevor Lawrence. He should have been a Vol as much as anyone before, or after him.

Brick by brick...honestly, I never gave it a second thought, until the moment I realized Jones was a snake-oil salesman, and that was one of his many pitches. Whenever he first said it and pushed it, I didn't love it, I didn't hate it...it just never really registered until hindsight.
