As far as guys with NFL potential it's very top heavy. People only 4-5. The other ones I listed probably will be decent college players at best and the rest will likely not ever be significant contributors. So yes I'd say that's a very top heavy class

At 12:00 pm on Wednesday he will choose. I’ve been invited to be there. I’m going to go, but no matter where he chooses, no one can be mad at the situation. It is clearly up to him, and I told him that. It is a very fluid situation, and it hurts, but to all of the Tennessee fans, they’ve got to understand that some things happened at the last minute. I’ve read all of y’alls comments, and to those that said that I remain optimistic, yes I have. If you think that I’ve given up even now, for what has happened, I won’t. I’m going to fight this all the way to the end. If there’s only one person left out of all of the Tennessee fans to remain hopeful then it’ll be me against the world that he comes here. I’m not fighting you, but I’m going down until the ink runs dry. I didn’t come here to waist my time for this, and I certainly didn’t want all of you to give up either, but to those that really wanted him here, then it must be painful. I’ll going to apologize for this thread going weird, out of context, and certainly threw me for a loop.

Well, think I'll let it play out despite your promises of negativity.
I do remember your constant guarantee of Justin Martin being the best get of his class. Excuse me, 2nd best get. I believe you said only Drew Richmond would pan out better.

Nothing wrong with predictions, we all do it and miss. But your talent evals fall under "suspect" for the time being.

Recruiting happened... these things can change in a hurry. We really never knew if the coaches were pursuing them hard or if the recruits were ever really interested. We get bits and pieces of the puzzle and make our own narrative most of the time.

I agree. Yes we tried, and now he faces the toughest decision of his life. I hope no one gets even mad at him for anything at all. Yes, I coached him when he was smaller and he has really turned out well. I’ve invested a lot of time, and I know that I’ve been through a lot, but I think we have been as well. No one can tell me that we haven’t for a long time. I think we are praying for Wednesday to finish strong in this recruiting class, and I know we all want that, so everyone keep your heads up, and let’s finish this strong.

If he didn't visit, there's less than a 1% chance he chooses the Vols. I think this kid has had a chip on his shoulder since he camped and didn't get an offer he thought he deserved. Now that he's wanted by others, he wats to poke Pruitt in the eye. That's fine, just don't expect to come home and find Vol fans ready to help you. Maybe he loves Texas, I hope so for his sake.

No one has ever said anything to me about the summer ordeal, but maybe he held it inside and he didn’t tell no one about. It. I know he certainly didn’t talk about it with me. We talked about a lot of things, but not that. I’ll agree that there has been some uproaring this morning, but I guess it might be for the good, but I don’t know. Where does this lead to now, we’ll that will be the question after this is all done. It’s a tough spot to be in.😞☹️

I am with you.... IF the staff really really wanted him and he goes elsewhere then so be it.... if we don't replace him in one of the 3 or 4 slots with equal or better talent then it is a net loss... but I am going to wait and see who we do add before I get in line on any bridge. I am sure the staff put in a solid effort so at a minimum we don't have to deal with we passed on in state talent mantra. I personally never get to excited because it is entirely possible he will be better off where ever he ends up than at UT and UT might get more production out of the slot that opens... regardless if it is a three star, four star or no star... just the nature of the beast. I really like some of the proposed backup fringe guys POTENTIAL...

Yea, my only issue with the kid is if he played Pruitt and the Vols over a perceived injustice. I don't begrudge him over going anywhere he wants.
