Yaccum. Missed his first OV for reasons unknown, something circulated about his brother-in-law being sick. Missed the last OV because of what? Gossip, from someone eavesdropping at a dinner table in a restaurant? Or was it straight talk that hurt his feelings? Not a good look to put out a story like that.

How stupid would it be for coaches to travel to a recruit's hometown, go to a local restaurant and then say negative things about the recruit where people could overhear it?

Blue shirt, Grey shirt, Sign weds. The kid has a full ride to UT if he wants. Things went down a different way than he thought they were going to. The fact is he can still sign with Tennessee Weds if he wants.A lot can happen now until Weds.

Funny you say this. A rumor I heard today was that everything we are hearing is a smokescreen for a big surprise at his announcement. I personally can’t imagine that people would go to that extream for a kid knowing the public lashing he would take between now and that day. It seems to me that he is of the mindset that someone needs him. Memphis needs him.. We see how that turned out. The other three could use him but do not need him.

At this point, where he goes is irrelevant, but I am curious if he confronted said coaches and asked them what was said? If not, then he's obviously just looking for a reason to go elsewhere. I do find it hard to believe that any coach at any school would talk negatively about a recruit they supposedly want in public like that, especially in said recruit's hometown. Makes zero sense, which is why I'm thinking it's either made up or completely blown out of proportion.

Yeah mine too, bitching about where a 17/18 year old kid decides to play collegiate ball, something 99% of this sub wishes they couldve qualified for, isnt a healthy hobby lol. Not saying youre doing it of course, but good lord wishing a kid's failure because he isnt going UT is pa-the-tic.

Um, no, I never wanted to play football. I didn't see anyone wishing he would fail, but I may have them on ignore. There's just not any news on anyone else so all we have is the unsolved mystery of Dyersburg.
