Yeah mine too, bitching about where a 17/18 year old kid decides to play collegiate ball, something 99% of this sub wishes they couldve qualified for, isnt a healthy hobby lol. Not saying youre doing it of course, but good lord wishing a kid's failure because he isnt going UT is pa-the-tic.
Um, no, I never wanted to play football. I didn't see anyone wishing he would fail, but I may have them on ignore. There's just not any news on anyone else so all we have is the unsolved mystery of Dyersburg.
This is true. So we didn't offer Logue as early as GA? Okay... he camped there a week before here. I'm glad that he wanted to see guys before offering them. Anderson we messed up, no doubt. But the other guys are entitled cry babies. They can go to GA.
Good thing is, this stuff won't happen going forward. If the instate guys we want go elsewhere, it won't be because we didn't offer them in time or anything like that. All the guys we want in the 2020 class have already camped and already have offers and the staff has already prioritized them.
The staff didn't mess up with Anderson. He was coming off a bad injury and the staff wanted to see how he would progress. Similar to the Mississippi DL we are recruiting. After a solid Senior season the staff atttempted to turn up the heat on him, but he was already happy with SCe.
So are we really trying to talk ourselves into he didn't visit bc he is going to blue shirt ? I call BS the kid isn't coming here.
A coach would be slitting his own throat per say if this is how he went about recruiting. If recruiting is the life blood of a program, and it is, then trashing a recruit anytime, let alone publicly in the recruits hometown is a reputation/relationship killer. I hardly think our coaches knowing the importance of recruiting, especially in a rebuild would do that.At this point, where he goes is irrelevant, but I am curious if he confronted said coaches and asked them what was said? If not, then he's obviously just looking for a reason to go elsewhere. I do find it hard to believe that any coach at any school would talk negatively about a recruit they supposedly want in public like that, especially in said recruit's hometown. Makes zero sense, which is why I'm thinking it's either made up or completely blown out of proportion.
Do not underestimate the 6 buck lunch deal at DQ. Double burger, fries, drink and a sundae.should have gone to the dairy queen grill & chill instead. what happens at the dairy queen stays at the dairy queen.
or this large, empty adjacent field. surely no prying eyes or eavesdropping going on there.

He’s trying to save face with the locals.
Are we sure those posts that said those thing were him him making them? I don't know how to tell. But he is not saving face by publicly pouting about the University of Tennessee's coaching staff. We saw another report that he did not like something said while he was at Tam. Early in his recruitment, I said that Russell was not a head case. I retract that because the behavior we are seeing is not normal. Badmouthing his recruiters in soap opera fashion is a ridiculous look, a big red "attitude warning" flag. I'm sorry it happened.
