What is he wanting to major in? I know we are rated very good for engineering and business school, so it depends on what he's taking as to where would be the best for his education. Just hope HE is allowed to decide his own future and go where he will be comfortable, Input is fine but deciding for them is just wrong especially if it's based on where the adult went, things can change a lot in 20-30 years.

Michigan sucks for a lot of reasons, but we simply aren't going to beat them on paper when it comes to academics. You could cherry pick specific program rankings, but unfortunately, a degree from UM is just simply stronger.

That being said, if I'm an athlete and academics is my recruiting focus, I'm going to Stanford, UCLA, or UVA over UM depending on coaching staffs.

Hmm. Secret societies, blue blood degrees, info coming out that celebs paid to get their slack ass kids into great schools.

I dunno man. Ive read some autobiographies of these blue bloods. Dubya is perfect example.

Knew some close friends. Part of the associations to their respective institutions.

That's all they've mentioned. It's taken pretty seriously. Prolly just an overpriced keg party.

He would fill a role that Crouch, Eason, and French don't. He's more of a McDonald from last class which he is probably better than
