'25 TN QB George MacIntyre (Tennessee commit)

Well this is my first time watching GMAC and BA so I’m probably not a great judge but I wasn’t impressed one iota. I know CPA is defending state champs and BA is absolute dog trash so there’s that. I thought the offensive gameplan didn’t seem to accentuate their 5* QB.

I'll be honest, not hating on the kid but he needs to study defenses with a coach to help him break it down l. He was late on throws in two interceptions I saw tonight.

Play calling didn't help, and he throws a beautiful ball...... But you can tell he didn't understand the ball needs to get out quicker, to anticipate instead of waiting for it to develop and the player to get to his spot before throwing it.

yes all of this

Yeah play calling was suspect....quick throws, no deep balls. Doesn't look like he has many targets to throw to and he didn't have much time. Was a bad int and they dropped one that wouldve been pick 6.

Not one to criticize coaches but man, BA’s coach is delivering a masterclass on how to waste QB talent you’ll never have again.
Paul Wade is a great coach. They weren’t throwing downfield because he doesn’t trust guys to get open, his line to block, or his QB not to force it…which he did twice at the end of the game. He got away with the first one, the last one ended the game.

Bounced off his receivers foot
Yep. But he got away with what should’ve been a game-ending pick 6 and then didn’t get away with the final INT.

I’ve seen GMac play 4x now. Hope he’s a great college QB, but he’s not a great high school QB. It’s not his coach or teammates’ fault. At some point, it’s him.

If you don't have receivers you can't move the ball down field, especially against a solid, well coached defense.

That being said, the play calling could have been better, but the execution, from everyone, including QB was bad. Throws were late, no anticipation. Not what you want to see from a polished high school player. He's going to need a lot of coaching, that defense was well coached but not super athletic, somewhat slow......... The game at the next level is going to be a slog for him to catch up to.

My first time ever watching BA, but genuinely curious why/how he’s a good coach but went 2-10 last year with 5 d1 players on the roster at least
