'25 TN QB George MacIntyre (Tennessee)

I still like Georges physical make up, tools, long term potential more than Deuce. With all due respect to Deuce. I just think Deuce is a freak of nature athlete who plays QB. He’s going to have a ton of development ahead of him to play the QB position at a high level
They’re both dual threats with McIntyre’s arm advantage superseding Knight’s legs imo.

I watched the game. He's extremely talented. Watched a lot of football over the years. He has an excellent arm and I truly don't understand all the angst. I see an extremely high upside. Reminds me of Drew Lock, Tyler Bray and Eric Ainge. BA has for some reason dropped down in talent level across the board. Someone more in the know than me has already I'm sure explained why. Anyone think that if he played for Baylor or McCallie we would be having this conversation? Probably not. He knew where he was going with that last throw before the snap and made a bad decision regardless if it was a curl or if the receiver flattened the route or simply threw the ball behind him. I like what I see and you know CJH knows what to look for in a qb1 and so does Alabama, Georgia and all the other top D1 schools who would gladly accept his signature. Looking forward to seeing how he continues his growth as the season goes along. Those qbs I mentioned are far superior to anyone we had less Dobbs since Bray.

I wonder if Heupel watched the game and thought to himself, “I should have never went after this kid” along with the other programs that offered him a scholarship?

Highly doubt it.

Wouldn’t put too much stock into that game considering the rest of his team looks like dog sh*t to begin with.

Classy comment about the others kids 🙄

They should be bigger at CPA, every kid is a hold back player. Couple the terrible officiating and the CPA line that holds every play you get what you got
My brother in Christ, neither one of those kids on BA even sniff 6 foot tall and are under 200lbs. The offensive line at Lawrence County is bigger than those 2 kids

You sound salty as hell lol

JMHO, but McIntyre’s greatest feat as a Vol will be his helping land other recruits. I’ll be surprised if he’s ever the starting QB here based on the 2-3 games I’ve seen him play. He’s gonna be recruited over either by another incoming QB or transfer guy.

My feeling is he’s like the kid out of Martin that went to Bama.

The staff doesn’t care about how a HS QB performs. Tayven Jackson, Merk, and GMac… none of them lit it up in high school.

Heup is insanely confident in his ability to develop QBs. As he should be.
