Look even if it were anyone but UT. It’s a long way to signing day. You can tell he’s been looking for every reason to be a Vol but we just weren’t doing ourselves any favors. Give JH a chance to show him the offense and hopefully we can put up some big passing numbers and show him what we can do. Not saying JH is a lights out recruiter but he runs the type of offense that could be intriguing to a QB.

I believe VOL. Only because I believe playing for the instate school is important to him. Plus, he's mentioned to many times about playing with instate players at 1 school. TY knows he's important to UT and is the start of something special.

Didn't commit to Pruitt, even though he liked Pruitt, because the offenses under Pruitt sucked. He came close several times but only because he loves Tennessee.

Regardless if that's the case or not, landing Simpson would be a huge get for CJH as he begins his tenure here.

This is either going to be a massive kickstart for the Heupel era or yet another severe kick to a program already down. I don’t like how early it is in the Heupel era and Clemson gets it’s class done early most of the time and that seems like the main competition here and so this doesn’t feel good to me. I think Simpson would be great in Heupel’s offense and so I hope he sees that.
