Think he does, when he signed in ‘22 it said he had 3 years.

Let’s see if he visits for UK. Also could sneak in a couple of guys for the UTEP game. Those throw away games give the coaching staff more time to focus on recruits instead of media BS.

That article I linked says, “Has one year of eligibility remaining.”

I would love for that to be wrong, but it’s the official UT sports site. This is his 5th year, counting his COVID year. He never redshirted. I don’t see how he’d have another year.

Just looking at Karic’s history, I don’t see how he’d could have eligibility left, but if he does, that would be fantastic. He’s played well this year. Maybe he can petition for an injury year because he got hurt in 2023 and only played in 5 games.

Think he redshirted one year + covid year

Early this week, the former Texas redshirt sophomore offensive tackle/flex blocking tight end Andrej Karic took to social media to announce his next stop out of the transfer portal.
Karic does have an ample amount of Power Five live-game experience under his belt, and he will have three years of eligibility remaining in Knoxville.

- Williams 6’0 220 (transferred)
- kid from Athens GA 6’2 235 (transferred)
- Keith 6’1 237 is next probably…

I don’t want him to leave but, I don’t think he will play extensively here. Our coaches don’t seem to be willing to use a power back. Or at least they won’t sacrifice speed for power.

Even though they intentionally recruited him for that…

Or Sampson took it last year??
They always brought him in on goal line because he always gets in.

And oddly enough that should encourage Morris, but the coaches for whatever reason are still recruiting a type of player that they won’t play anyway lol.

They told him they want a bigger back, but the facts are they will put a Morris sized guy there haha

They must have misspoke. He had 3 years to play 2 when he transferred. He RS that Covid year (which doesn't count) so he technically has/now had a RS available to him this year.

I meant Bishop took the job of being the power back and getting short yardage. Sampson is different with the goal line with his improved power bc he is the triple threat. He can score up the middle, kick it outside, and catch the ball

I agree and heard the RB’s coach say in an interview he was good for a burst of about 20 yards.Those big Arkansas backs looked pretty good against us.Sometimes 5 or 6 yards is better than not breaking a tackle at the line

They are calling his COVID year a redshirt year. But it isn’t.

His career:
2020: COVID
2021: 11 games
2022: 12 games
2023: 5 games
2024: 7 games so far

So he clearly hasn’t redshirted. He’s out of eligibility unless he can get that 2023 year back for injury.
