'25 TN RB Daune Morris (Tennessee)

I’m not going to count out a guy like Bishop, just yet. Especially not a local kid and definitely not at that position.
Sometimes we forget about the traits you can’t measure, desire, heart and want to.
Worst case, he’s going to a hell of a complimentary back.
Bishop looks really good. Just needs work on pass protection. Lewis has another gear though but possibly not the vision that bishop does at this point.

I agree he’s been great, the YPC is a bit skewed considering he had runs of 57 and 53 yards against Kent state (would be 5 YPC instead of 6.9). I do like his ability to fall forward and run aggressively
To be fair if you take any RBs 2 longest runs away their avg would drop.

Yup and he’s also a very similar type back as Dsamp, would be a great fit. It’s in state, a program that has sustainability, it should be a no brainer for the kid rather than go to the west coast to a school that most likely doesn’t have their current HC in a year or 2.

Not to mention playing with his cousin Boo Carter, who’s balling out.

By "we" you must mean the coaches that have actually evaluated him and know what they are doing. Because fans who see only 3 stars listed beside his name on recruiting sites are not very excited about flipping him.
Some are. Some have said he may be the best player in the state.

I’m not on the best player in the state sentiment but he’s pretty damn good. Would love to have him.

Utley is pretty damn good. People always forget the big men. 😂
Utley is awesome. Ranking those guys up there above him tells you how much I think of them. Not that I'm a professional evaluator or anything.

I've got Utley #3, Mills-Knight #4, GMac #5. Those are 5 phenomenal prospects. Joakim Dodson might be #6. He's very underrated.

Tennessee running backs coach De’Rail Sims is in the midstate to see Daune Morris. The Southern Cal commitment has been very responsive this week and things are trending towards him visiting Tennessee for the Kentucky game next weekend. When you factor in the year that Dylan Sampson is having and the fact that the Trojans are struggling, it’s easy to see why Tennessee has become more attractive for him.
