Redmond absolutely.

But Onis is a freak athlete that also moves his hips well and can really break out of a back pedal well- staying balanced keeping his feet under him.

He and Poteat are two true CBs

I think Lewis is a NB

It’s a pretty balanced class and filled with playmakers.

I agree about Hayward moving to STAR to rotate with Boo. That’s a lethal combination.

Redmond is playing CB for Milton GA and many think his best position is at safety.
Then Walton.

So we have for 2025
Turrentine (SR)
Charles (SR)
Jk Thomas (SR)
Jo Thomas (RsJr)
Slaughter (Jr)
Harrison (RsJr)
Farooq (So)
Redmond (Fr)
Walton (Fr)
9 scholarship at Safety

Not including Boo or Hayward at STAR.

Walton plays safety right now
Hayward plays safety right now
Redmond played some safety vs Buford.
Poteat played some safety in his highlights

So I would say 4.

Maybe. It just seemed to me he was at his best when he could roam and make plays. This is the fun of targeting big, athletic, and physical DBs

I’m also not sure what signing Morris has to do with signing a safety. It’s not an either/or. If we’re not signing another safety, it’s because we’re happy with what we have in Hayward, Walton, and Redmond, not because we’re signing Morris. We have 6 DBs committed. That’s the last position we need to address.

HIs point is why is walk-on Will Brooks in line to start/play alot at safety if we have so many scholarship players at that position.

Not saying I agree, but I bet that is what he meant.
