Looks like he STILL isn't giving Heupel a chance, reaching out, himself, to NC and Florida...looks like he wants to go anywhere but TN. Committed to UGA, got screwed, now hitting up Florida, another bitter rival of his home state school, our school...kid can end up on the sofa for all I care.He should have given this staff an opportunity back in the spring and summer.
Have to think UT (and other schools) would use this against GA in the future. Truly sad but after it's all said and done, it is a business. Old adage "never put all your eggs in one basket" holds true here, so keep all options open just in case.Agreed, but he and his family have fully bought in that UGa is his nose effective way to the league, really like Coach McGee. Personally from what I have heard in his recruitment he could be a case of Kirby just doesn’t want schools like UT to have him.
We got a better back in Williams. Other spots to fill.We should 100% burn a spot to take James after UGA screws him over. Too many sour grapes in here to see the big picture.
Let's exploit the cautionary tale that UGA just created and take care of the in state kid.
"Oh that big school from out of state is tempting, you sure they're going to let you sign on ESD? You see what they did to Jordan James at the last minute?"

Burning that spot will almost certainly result in a player having to be cut from the current roster. UT is going to bump up against the 85 cap. You can only take him if he has the right talent and attitude. You cannot take him to poke UGA in the eye and hope that a future recruit will care. History says... recruits really don't care about stuff like that because they believe they're different and "special".We should 100% burn a spot to take James after UGA screws him over. To play devils advocate, the flip side to being his soft spot to land potentially serves as notice to other high profile in-state kids that if things don’t work out, Tennessee will always find room for me. I don’t want Tennessee to become the safe fallback plan to kids who think the grass is greener in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, etc., only to find out that it isn’t.We should 100% burn a spot to take James after UGA screws him over. Austin Peay will take him...............
I was there in the early 90's.Found out last night a high school team mate of mine played for Austin Peay in the early 90s...Ed Booker. He doesnt remember much now after all the concussions but he does remember playing Cincinnati and being up 14-0 in the first half then Cincy put their starters in and they went on to win 45-14.
