'22 TN RB Jordan James (Oregon commit)

He's about to put a bunch in the NFL include 2 or more first rounders. That is what they see. Kids know they have real NFL shot when they get a commitable offer from Bama. It may start getting that way with UGA. It's kind of that way with Ohio State and Clemson, although the bloom was off the rose at Clemson this year.

People also have hard time understanding that while we may hate him and he is an azz to a rival that he is a players type coach and players love him and his energy.

I mean, James said that the only reason he didn’t sign when everyone else did was because he was at the beach

He should.......... That program, and Rutherford County, produces a lot of talent. Relationships are important in recruiting, don't you think?

That is true but Ga has 10 “Rutherford County’s” in Ga. Smart isn’t going to $hit where he eats. If you’re signing with an out of state school with a lot of instate talent, you better realize you’re not their primary concern. Ask JT Daniels v

I’m just saying it could effect some from even looking at UGA . Idk?

Did he or did he not receive an LOI from GA to sign? Is there not a 3 day window to do so? It kind of gets back to what did he know and when did he know it. The players side of these situations do impact every coach's credibility among players and with all the camps and player and family member interaction in social media it is a factor, but not necessarily a major factor. I am guessing there is a better understanding of this situation among the player community than we get through speculation on home state boards about a players committable offers.

So the kid basically lost his spot because he didn’t sign early?
Yeah the beach thing is the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard. He was told not to sign, and now Georgia doesn’t have room. Guarantee he doesn’t sign with them. He will sign elsewhere unless Kirby somehow pulled a Saban and convinced him to grayshirt.

Doubtful. Kids care about NIL and path to the nfl more than what happened to someone else. This isn’t the first time Kirby’s done this and he still recruits fine. Saban does it all the time and recruits fine. Literally every coach has billy bobbed a kid at some point.
