he’s a better evaluator than @Dobbs 4 HeismanNot even sure what this means.
That’s true, but it’s also good to win recruiting battles for elite recruits against elite programs. We know Heupel can coach up and is an excellent in game coach, but can you imagine what he could do with a blue chip roster and depth?I hope he’s a Vol but I don’t know about y’all but it feels good not really caring all that much about who we land at the offensive skill positions. Heupel is going to make them all into stars regardless of the names on their jerseys. That’s how I feel anyway.
Oh okay Bigdan!Seriously. Some people on this site kill me. He’s literally being offered the opportunity to play both right in front of our eyes.
It would be incredible. He maxed out the previous group at 11-2 and great offensive numbers with exception of the Georgia game. Can’t imagine the potential with elite talent everywhere. Quite literally unstoppable Vs everyone. Like 2019 lsuThat’s true, but it’s also good to win recruiting battles for elite recruits against elite programs. I’ll believe it when I see it. Lots of guys get offers in 2 sports, but it’s not often that they can make it work at the SEC level. Pretty sure that baseball commitment is defunct at this point.
Who was the last notable two sport athlete in the SEC? Bruce Ellington at USCe? He was pretty good at Football and Basketball, but he wasn’t exactly exceptional at either one. He was the best player on his basketball teams, but that’s not saying much at South Carolina.I agree. Usually they get going with both and realize although they’re talented, everyone is at this level. And not focusing in the off-season on your sport makes it virtually impossible to keep up with your peers in either sport.
So usually whichever sport they get out of the gates quickest with tends to be the sport they settle in with.
There are exceptions. But that seems to be the way it works out usually.
we have been saying this for almost 15 years. yeah it gets more likely each time it gets said, but I am not hedging any bets on Saban's timeline.Saban will be what…. 72 when this kid gets to campus? 75 when he’s a junior? At a time when college football is going to be even more taxing than ever before with the portal, NIL, expanded playoffs, and expanding SEC?
Yeah odds are saban won’t even be the. coach when this kid is an upper classmen. Meanwhile Heupel will be here for years to come.

Depends on his position. Right Field and First Base are pretty light work. Short stop, catcher, and obviously pitcher are grueling. I thank god I was born left handed for my playing days. If I wasn’t pitching, I was relegated to first base which made my life a lot easier than most of my teammates lolBaseball isn’t as physically demanding as football and bball. Not like he would struggle to keep weight on bc of playing baseball. It can be done. I’m not saying he’s Bo Jackson, but he can definitely play both if he’s good enough and he appears to be.
Gonna be hard to crack that baseball lineup tho.
That OC may be leaving already if Northwestern offers. Probably won't happen but since it's Bama I'm sure that means less because they rotate OC's in and out.Orange shaded glasses aside, he’s walking into a much better situation picking TN. Bama has a new OC with a more old-school philosophy. Whereas TN has the #1 offense, a Biletnikoff winning wr, and Nico.
