'24 TN WR Amari Jefferson (Tennessee)

So, this made me think and look up draft picks. Maybe this year is an outlier. I don’t know. In the last 5 years, Alabama has had 27 players picked in the first two rounds. 2! were from the state of Alabama (Henry Ruggs and Quinnen Williams). It looks like they had several more before that. But many of Saban’s high draft picks have been from outside the state.
Yes, not all of them come from Bama as many go out of state or to Auburn. And many more aren't eventual 1st or 2nd round picks but were still highly ranked recruits.

Daron Payne (Alabama) and Kerryon Johnson (Auburn) were top-2 round picks in 2018.

Marlon Davidson (Auburn) and Quinnen Williams (Alabama) in 2019.

Henry Ruggs III (Alabama) and Kadarius Toney (Florida) in 2021.

George Pickens (Georgia) in 2022.

There are several 3rd rounders in that span I didn't list, as well.

In state recruiting is an outdated concept. It’s 2023. Plenty of big programs load up on kids nationally. One of Georgia’s recent classes hardly had any of the top 10 guys in state yet they finished top 4. Got to recruit nationally in the online era

Draw a 500 miles radius around Knoxville and then compare it to Athens or Tuscaloosa even Clemson for example and there are just as many highly touted athletes
Wasnt Rivals and Scout based in Nashville?

Walk outside the office and rank a four star at Antioch.

Drive five hours to Atlanta for a camp. Or look at their offer list, three star.

Lazy.

Tennessee has always recruited nationally. Most major universities have been recruiting nationally way before the so called online era. GBO

He knows just as much as any other random anonymous poster on here. He's just not fueling the fire so people don't believe him. If he was positive everyone would think he's the next AV like they do with KN.
Well, look at his posts in general. He implies he has an inside track and most of his posts are negative. I really don’t like someone intentionally starting a rumor or “fact” when there’s no basis for it, or in many cases on here, it’s just completely false
