To everyone who thinks Bray is an NFL lock ...

Never acts proud to be a Vol. On Sunday Night Football, I don't think I've ever seen him say 'University of Tennessee'. He always says his high school.

He doesn't take pride in the fact that he donned the orange, so I can't root for him.

It also doesn't help that I'm a Vikings fan, and his Saints beat us in heartbreaking fashion. But that's a very small part of it.

LOL. So by saying he played for UT would that mean he doesn't take pride in where he played in HS and all the fans of that school should disown him? Some people seriously need to get over themselves.

I hope Bray does very well in the NFL. There is no reason for me to wish anything but that. I saw the offense that Bray qb'd hang a lot of points on their opponents and lose because the defense was pathetic. Did he get frustrated? Yes Did he always handle it well? No, but I doubt I would have either. It had to be hard to not rip the defense at some point. Lord knows everyone on VN did.

Bray is a top 30 pick. This years QB class is super lame. Don't be shocked if he goes in the first round... to the jets

Pretty tough to strap the team in your back when you have to score 40-50 points a game just to even have a chance to win since your defense thinks they are playing two hand touch instead of tackle football.

Not really. As bad as the D was, he had chances to beat MSU, UGA, USCe, UF, Mizzou,... and he choked. The OP is right. Bray has a ton of physical talent but he has NEVER shown that he has what it takes in his head and heart to be a winner. If we were talking about the D losing half those games then you have a point. But he NEVER got the big win when it was in his hands to do it going all the way back to UNC. Bray appears to be a guy who just does not play well under pressure.

Remember how he got to UT. After telling Boyd to get lost, the "boy genius" Kiffin whiffed on Rees, Heap, Scroggins, Hendrix, Rettig, and others... then offered Bray who no one else had offered but SDSU and Fresno. If you look at it in perspective, he became UT's QB pretty much the same way Dooley became HC. He was well down the list but the only one to say yes.

Someone knew something for all the other big programs to avoid him like that.

Honestly, I hope he pulls it together and becomes the best QB in NFL history. But he will have to learn to play under pressure and win big games.

That is not nor has it ever been the issue with Bray. When the game is close and the ball is in his hands... he does not perform.

He ripped UGA's very talented D for over 3 qtrs... but then turned the ball over 3 times with a chance to tie or win.

Things we can all agree on: Bray has raw talent. Bray can be immature. Bray has potential to be a great QB. Bray has made some questionable decisions.

Did you watch any games this year? Every QB Bray went head to head with had a defense that was 10 times better than ours. By the way this was his first full season.

Bray will make it to the NFL....questionable whether he makes it in the NFL.

It's foolish to suggest bray want be drafted. He will improve his stock by lighting it up at the combines. Whether he will have much of a career? I don't know, but he will certainly get the chance.

Take away the leadership, and I'll ask you the same question. Name me a single NFL quarterback who lost every single big game they played in college. All I'm saying is he would probably be better suited for the NFL with at least one big win under his belt. I think he has NFL talent, but I don't think he's ready for the NFL right now.

Um I think his name is Peyton manning. If you want to complain think about the guy everyone adores that couldn't make it past the third game of the year without losing. But no we don't ever want anyone to be as good as manning. Just like with ainge and bray as soon as we get a qb who puts up numbers all I ever see on here is he will never be Peyton Manning. So i guess you get what you ask for. As far as I'm concerned Manning choked away a preseason number 1 and 3 but no one wants anyone better than him. Id take anybody better than him and I hope peterman or whoever has the reigns next year is twice the qb manning was.

Watch that goofball playing QB for Mississippi State today and remember that he outplayed Bray head-to-head, along with virtually every other quarterback in the SEC. Playing at the next level is about rising to the occasion, both in training camp and then on Sundays. Yes, Bray put up some great numbers and has a ton of natural ability, but when did he ever rise to the occasion and do something great at UT? Forget the lousy coaching ... when did Tyler Bray strap the team on his back and refuse to lose in a big spot? Maybe I'm wrong and he can simply turn on that intangible attribute at the next level, but I just don't see it.

You do realize that our defense didn't stop miss st once the whole first half and we had the ball a total of 6 minutes the first half, right?

You and I don't get along do we? I swear, every single one of your posts seems to be completely off base and totally wrong. It's uncanny.

It's understood that you name your college in the NBC introductions. You know this. One isn't disowning his high school by not stating its name. However, by not stating your college, when, again, it's understood that you're supposed to, is, to me, lack of pride. Saying your high school every now and then is fine, but he does it EVERY TIME. That doesn't seem weird to you?

And I feel like there was some big story about him saying bad things about UT once, but that could be totally made up. I just remember hearing that somewhere, never actually checked to see if it was accurate.

While Peyton Manning didn't beat Florida, he won PLENTY of big games while he was a Vol? Let's see, Peyton's last 3 years starting for UT ... 11-1, 10-2, 11-2. SEC Championship his senior season. I stand corrected. He never won a big game.

Im done........

I am so sick of people riping Fulmer, our past and current player's, there is no other team in the SEC or country that is worse then Tennessee fans...

I go on Bamas,Georgia,Ole Miss,Miss. State, Arky board and they have nothing but love for there players and coaches.

Heck Even USC boards still support there players and team and COACH..

Im done, I cant be apart of a fanbase like this....

Half of our post are riping players and former coaches....

Im done with this site and 90% of pos fans that post on this site

But I'll bet the LSU board is full of Les Miles love for his decision to go into that 2 minute airball drill his last possession with Clemson that cost them that game :loco:

The league is so pass friendly nowadays that Bray will probably do well there. And I hope he does. He's played his heart out while here. He has nothing left to prove to any of us. Go get paid young man.

Don't all the networks that air games and have those type of introductions normally ask the guys to name multiple schools (ex. college, JC, high school) at which they played and then the network chooses which one they are actually going to put on the air? That's what I've understood in the past. Maybe I'm wrong, but I still don't personally think choosing to name your high school rather than your college is that egregious of an offense.
