Tom Brady.....even better than I thought he was.

Belichick hasn’t made the playoffs the last four years he hasn’t had Brady as his QB.
Switch Brady and Peyton, Rivers, Rodgers and you have the reverse SB wins with all of them. I doubt Brady makes it to the Sb on the Colts teams Peyton played on.

You’re right I’m sure Brady couldn’t do that, not like he took a team that hasn’t made the playoffs in 11 years in a COVID year, threw 40 TD’s in his age 43 season, and led them to a Super Bowl in his first year. I’m sure the 2000’’s Colts were tougher situations.

Have anything to back this up? Enough with the Manning garbage. He had the number ranked defense in the league in 2007 and flamed out in his first playoff game against San Diego. He had the number two ranked defense in 2005 and flamed out in his first playoff game against Pittsburgh. He had a top ten defense five times in Indy and lost his first playoff game four times. So no there’s nothing to suggest that if you switch Brady and Manning that the Pats would have won all of those Super Bowls.

Tom Brady playing with a hall of fame running back, a hall of fame receiver, another soon to be hall of fame receiver, an all pro tight end, and great offensive line and a hall of fame coach. Nope no way he would have been able to win a super bowl with those squads.

Peyton’s SB run with Indy...he wasn’t even that good except against the Pats. He had 3/7 TD-INT ratio, highest QB rating was 81 and only threw for 300 yards once. And we know how bad he was with Denver SB run.

Brady chose wisely where he was going. The Tampa Bay team was strong with or without Brady. Fournette and Brown were strong additions and Tampa’s D was strong with excellent coaching. Brady always had the strong defense on his side unlike Peyton’s teams with the exception of his last year.

As I noted above, Peyton had plenty of strong defenses and still couldn’t win Super Bowls with them.

The colts teams D’s was finesse. That didn’t get you anywhere in the postseason. The Patriots always were the more physical team and much better coached because of Belichek.

They were good enough to win the super bowl in 2006.....
Bob Sanders , enough said. He was the difference maker that year and was the No. 1 reason the Colts won the SB. Too bad he was so physical that his body just couldn’t take the punishment very long.

Ok? So their defense was good enough to win a super bowl. Thanks for confirming what I posted.

With Sanders it was the one year. The other years , No. The defense definitely was responsible for the loss to the Saints. They played off the receivers the whole game and could not generate any pass rush on Brees.

Sanders played in 2005 and 2007. The Colts had defenses ranked in the top 2 both seasons and never won a playoff game. What else you got?
I have given you enough. You are not going to agree with me regardless because it doesn’t fit your opinion.

Manning threw a pick six late in the 4th qtr. Whether YOU like it or not, Brady has a clutch gene that Manning doesn't

My opinion is backed up by facts, which I’ve posted. You’ve literally provided nothing to back up any of your claims. I’ve been able to shoot down every bit of nonsense that you’ve posted. Again there’s nothing to suggest that Manning would have won the Super Bowls that Brady did in NE. In Indianapolis, Manning was surrounded by hall of fame talent, a hall of fame coach, highly rated defenses, and still “only” won one super bowl. Bill Belichick’s career record without Tom Brady as his starting quarterback is 63-73. Now if you have anything to dispute those facts, let’s hear them.

Manning didn't play well in either of his Super Bowl wins

Huh? The box score isn't impressive against the Bears but that was an all-time great D and the Colts put up 29 points in the rain. Literally the only bad weather SB of my life. He had an interception on 3rd and long that was essentially a punt, and that was the only blemish on his performance. He extended a play with his feet to set up a TD bomb to Wayne. He quarterbacked the hell out of that game.

I didn't say he played bad.
