Alright, yes I am a Georgia grad but also a Milton High School Alumni so I'll squint my eyes when looking at the orange, LOL. I try to support the local boys.
I'll probably see him in 3 or 4 home games this year, a couple of games interfere with the trips to Baton Rouge and Tempe.
One reason Toney may only be a 3 star is that he spent equal time in the backfield with a 2 year starter last year. They had almost equal carries (about 300 combined) and about 1800 yards. Oh BTW, the other back was also the mayor's son. I doubt that had any influence because both were more than derserving.
Also, Milton has not been a football power on the state level since the early 80's if ever at all. They do not get a lot of press. They went through a 0-34 streak in the mid to late 80's and with the district getting constantly carved up, it has been extremely hard to set any sort of tradition. Looks like they may be changing that.
As to the competition, it is top notch. You guys have no worries there. If Toney continues to put up these kind of stats, its not a fluke.
Looks like he really bulked up over the year. Last year reminded me of former Dawg and Tampa Back Buc Saftey Jermaine Phillips with regards to physical build but not this year (6'-3", 227 - Not sure about height, but looks right on weight).
Anywho, good luck against UCLA and Go Dawgs.
