Toney Williams

The best I can discern, is that Toney had 164 yards rushing on 22 carries and 2 touchdowns. (One rushing and One Passing - 9 yards)

Seasons stats are 1,462 yards on 190 carries; 18 rushing TD's, 1 passing TD, 1 recieving TD, 1 Two-point conversion. Receiving he has 6 catches for 88 yards through 6 games (school stats have only been updated through then.)

On a side note that I picked up on in the AJC, Caldwell and Scott were at the game for someone other than Williams. Apparently UT is after the P/PK from Walton. They have already talked about an offer and they may have been sent there to go ahead and wrap this kid up. Brady Biggars I believe is the kid's name.

There were 3 kickers up here for MSU, 2 were juniors and one a senior. I can't remember their names though.

They are expecting the senior to commit.

Toney's problem appears to be that he is a tweener. People are not sure where he projects. he may grow too big to be a RB....so people don't know where he may end up. DE/LB? That is what is holding his recruiting accolades back.

Brandon Jacobs...does his name ring a bell?

6'4 265 lbs...plays RB for NY Giants...

And Brandon Jacobs was told he wasn't good enough to play at Auburn and transferred to Southern Illinois (I believe)

Mistakes, mistakes...wish we could have had him.

If Williams added 10-15 lbs he could be just as effective as Jacobs. He'd be around 6'1 240-245 lbs.

With the numbers he's putting up this year this kid deserves a shot at RB IMO.

I could see him being a Jamal Lewis type back with good receiving abilities out of the backfield like Arian Foster.

Milton defeated Roswell 20-19 to end a 7 game losing streak to their arch rival.

Toney had 100 rushing. He had one touchdown rushing in the first half.

Milton had to drive 96 yards with 2 minutes remaining in the game. Toney had a key 3rd and ten conversion on a screen pass that kept the drive alive. Will update with complete stats as I get them.

BTW - It is his 18th Birthday today

Let's get him a win for his birthday then.

Mitlon Defeated Pope 26-21 to secure their first palyoff berth since 1999.

Williams rushed for 144 yards on 29 carries and one touchdown. Also had an 18 yard touchdown passing. Supposedly ran a few plays from the quarterback position. They play Kell (8-1) next week for a chance to host a first round state playoff game.

Dang only 1 TD and 144 yards? Kind of weak compared to his previous 7 TD performance. I kid, I kid

excited to see this big guy in orange
