Toney Williams

We need different types of RB, Creer, Hardesty, and Oku+Giles are all different. Hopefully Toney Williams will provide us some diversity to our offense.

I don't know about Creer. He seems to have contracted fumblitis from Foster.

The Head Coach and his staff a mess playing one guy in to many diferent positions like its a high school or a small college, Oh I am sorry I forgot you guys don't know football. I don't apreciate the way this team is being coached.:cray: just too much mess to watch.

Not too sure what is relavent here.

But I do agree about the different types of RBs being utilitzed kinda like most NFL teams with thunder and lightning.

Atlanta area running back and Vol commit [db]Toney Williams[/db] got the news about Fulmer from television.

"I saw it on ESPN," Williams said. "I was shocked. I really like him and I really think he's a good guy and coach. He did things the right way."

Williams was obviously down and could not describe his emotions very well about the current status of the Tennessee football coach.

"I don't know man," Williams said. "I really like coach Fulmer. I'm really disappointed."

Williams who committed to Tennessee back during the spring says that he'll start to weigh his options.

"I'm still committed, but I'm going to see what else is out there," Williams said. "I don't really know where I'll look, but I know some schools will call."

One of the biggest assets that Tennessee has is receivers coach [db]Latrell Scott[/db]. Scott's status will remain unclear until a new head coach is hired and Williams made it clear that his commitment could hinge on Scott remaining in Knoxville.

"It's real important that coach Scott is back next year," Williams said. "I hope the new coach keeps him because I'll be really disappointed if he doesn't."

So where does Williams go from here?

"I don't know," Williams said. "I'm just shocked. I gotta get to class right now though."

The local Fox affiliate (WAGA) just ran an interview with Toney Williams - says he is still committed but keeping options open.

Toney sat out the last game of the season in their win against Kell. Milton won 14-7 and secured second place in the region and hosts East Paulding in the first round of the state playoffs. East Paulding is coached by former Alcoa (TN) HS coach John Reid.

Knowshon Moreno could turn professional after this season, or UGA could miss on some of its final recruiting targets at other positions.

If someone snubbed me today, but came begging in January after their targets went elsewhere, I would punch them in the face. See through the BS Toney and hang in til the new coach gets here.

I think Knowshon will stay 1 more year.

The Knowshon part was taken from the ESPN article. My bad I didn't quote or link that. The way it was worded was like Toney could only play for big bad UGA if all the studs go elsewhere or Knowshon goes Pro. May be true, but kind of a slap in the face to TW if you ask me.

Eric Berry says Knowshon better go pro if he knows whats good for him.

Both him and Stafford should jump

You have to take the money, it shouldn't even be a question in this day and age

Supposedly, Knowshon has already taken out an insurance policy for his JR year.

I think Stafford said he wanted to come back and win a championship, but if I were either of them I would make the jump.
