Top 10 CF teams of all time...

Oh well golly gee thanks for pointing out I misspelled DRANO...My goodness I appreciate it...You can now gleam about your awesome accomplishment now while wearing your Tebow panties tonight :eek:lol: Congrats big guy :)

And I'm accused of being the troll around here. :p

Fell free to continue running 12 year-old smack back when Tennessee mattered nationally.

I believe Nebraska is number 1. They were so smashmouth and Frazier running that offense was just nasty. USC '04 had to be the most talented team out of all those listed though

It's spelled FEEL :eek:lol: Wow....Just wow..Does the saying "Those who throw stones at glass houses" mean anything to you?...I doubt it...Do you REALLY just like hanging around a rivals board all day?....Seriously...I mean I know you like hanging out with the cool crowd and all.

Strongly disagree about the 2004 Trojans. Although I don't agree, I understand arguments that the Huskers were the best. However, I don't think any team had the talent of the 2001 Canes.

They have been ranked very highly in some past polls, mainly on SOS, which was sick.

In the end, I put very little importance on these kind of hypothetical teams. The goal is to beat the guys on your schedule, not create the greatest team in history. The '98 Vols did that, and that is all that really matters.

:good!:

If Alabama goes undefeated and win another title this year do they belong in the discussion? Lots of talent on this team...

We know you love the VOLS (why else would you be here?) but no reason to trash a fellow VOL fan.

Sigh...this is one of several boards I post on, and yes, it's one of the best CFB boards out there.

And I only trash people who trash me first....don't start no ish, won't be no ish.

I think so.

It will depend mostly on how the defense comes together and how impressive the wins are.

I'm not so sure they shouldn't be in the conversation for '09. They had a Heisman Trophy at RB, a future #1 at receiver, a rock star coach, and NFL players all over the field on defense. They beat 4 top 10 teams and only really had close games against arch-rivals UT and Auburn. They followed a 12-2 Sugar Bowl season with a title and capped the season by rolling Superman's Florida--who I think also would have had a really good argument had they won--then knocking Texas' golden boy out of a ho-hum title game.

I think history is going to value '09 Bama very, very highly, and rightfully so.

Good post....they beat the snot out of everyone's pre-season #1. :banghead2:

The history angle tends to favor teams with some degree of hype going into the season, and Bama didn't get nearly as much pre-season hype as UF did.

This season everyone's picking Bama, so if they live up to expectations you have to put them in the conversation.

If McElroy played every game in 09 like he did the last 2 game maybe but he was pretty bad before that...
